MMU Solan admission process is a multi-stage process which includes several key steps such as the entrance exams, counseling and application for admissions. To participate in the selection process of MMU Solan, candidates must fill out and submit the application form. The steps below show the admission process for MMU Solan:
STEP 1: MMU Solan Application Process
MMU Solan admissions can be completed in online mode by visiting the official website and filling out the application form. However, If the candidate wishes to apply in offline mode, they can acquire a copy of the application form by either visiting the official website or by visiting one of the campuses of MMU Solan. MMU Solan admissions for the MBBS, MD and MS courses require candidates to appear for the accepted entrance exams, followed by counselling done by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The application form must be attached with all necessary documents before submission.
STEP 2: Entrance Exam and Counseling Rounds
The MMU Solan admissions for the BSc, BVoc, MSc, diploma and value-added courses are decided on merit-basis where the scores obtained in the last qualifying exam are used to decide the admissions. However, MMU Solan conducts an entrance test for BSc in Nursing, GNM and PhD course admissions. Candidates applying for admissions into these courses must appear for the NEET-UG and NEET PG entrance exams where, they will be alloted seats during the respective counseling rounds.

Selected candidates have to participate in university counselling rounds. Aspirants are allotted seat based on their entrance exam or qualifying exam scores. MMU Solan offers admission to candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. The university conducts entrance tests for admission to PhD, BSc Nursing and GNM programmes. MMU also accepts NEET and NEET PG scores for admission to MBBS and MD/ MS courses, respectively. For all other courses, selection is based on qualifying exam scores of the candidates. MMU Solan MSc Admission 2025
MMU Solan offers a three-year MSc programme at the PG level. The course is spread across six semesters. The university offers MSc in various specialisations such as Medical Anatomy, Medical Physiology, Medical Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology and Medical Pharmacology. Aspirants should have passed MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BPT or BSc Nursing/ BASLP/ BSc MLT/ BSc OTT/ BSc CVT/ BOptom/ BSc RIT or equivalent degree from any recognised university with at least 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for the MSc programmes.

Admission is offered under State Quota seats and Management Quota seats in the ratio of 25:75 of the total seats. The selection for MBBS course is based on NEET-UG score of the candidates followed by HP NEET Counselling.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English are eligible to apply for MBBS programme at MMU Solan.
