MNNIT Allahabad selects students for BTech based on valid JEE Main score. They are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling. Admission to M.Tech is through GATE, followed by CCMT Counselling. Those students whose family income is less than INR 1 Lacs are provided scholarship by the Institute itself from the Student Welfare Fund.
