B.Tech. in Production and Industrial Engineering - Batch of 2029
4.0
Absolutely satisfied because of placements and college life.
Placements: I am from Production and Industrial Engineering, which comes under the Mechanical Department. In the Production and Industrial Engineering branch, in the year 2025, out of 30 eligible candidates, around 80 percent got placed. The average CTC was 9 LPA. The highest package was 14 LPA. The lowest package was less than 6 LPA. The average and highest packages are quite volatile. In 2023, the average package was 11 LPA. The highest package was 33 LPA. Top recruiting companies include AB InBev, Deloitte, ZS Associates, and Accenture. Students are also allowed to sit for software and other branch placements at companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon.
Infrastructure: In our hostels, rooms are divided into two parts. One for the bedroom and one for the study area. Although we do not have ACs, we can use coolers. There is one canteen and two mess facilities for first-year hostels, while second, third, and fourth-year students have multiple canteens and mess facilities. Some classrooms are large lecture halls equipped with ACs, while others are not. The mess food is quite average, but the canteens, especially in senior hostels, are good. The first-year hostel canteen is average. The library is equipped with ACs and contains thousands of books.
Faculty: Our teachers mostly have PhDs and good knowledge of the curriculum. The curriculum is mostly relevant, with a few extra subjects. Semester exams are not very difficult if students study regularly, but last-minute preparation makes them difficult. During exam times, coffee is also provided.
Other: The college life is really good with lots of clubs and committees, which make the campus enjoyable. We have Nishad for the music club, Alchemy for the dramatics club, MHM for the photography club, and many other clubs. The main cultural fest is Culrav, and the technical fest is Avishkar. Students often get chances to represent the college in competitions at IITs and other NITs.

Good in placement for CSE.
Placements: So, talking about the percentage of students getting placed, in CSE, the placement rate is about 96% in 2025. The highest package was 72 LPA. Meanwhile, the average package is 27.72 LPA in 2025. Top recruiters are Oracle, Atlassian, Microsoft, and D.E. Shaw. Around 100 to 150 students got internships of which around 80% are from CSE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is below expectations. Classrooms are below average. The library and labs are good, though. The college provides internet through LAN in the hostel, which enables you to browse. No desktop apps, no games will run on LAN. In the first year, the hostel is good with good food quality and just a single canteen in the hostel itself. The college provides medical facilities where you can get free medicine if prescribed by a doctor and stamped. Sports and games are conducted by the athletic team.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and the teaching quality is good. Some subjects, especially Maths, are tough for most of the students, and it's not easy to get good grades. It totally depends on the professor for relative or absolute grading. There are a few subjects we have to study apart from our course and from another department, and also some subjects not related to CSE. Semester exams are easy, though. Good scoring and grading are also good. The pass percentage for subjects except for mathematics is almost 100% in the first year.
Other: I chose this course in this college due to its high placement rate. Placements, especially for CSE, are better than many other national institutes. I would like the department to focus more on teaching subjects related to our department rather than others. Events are conducted frequently. There are a lot of opportunities to participate in many events. A lot to learn from the events. Like HACK 36 is a 36-hour hackathon which is conducted by our college. Similarly, many Aviskar is an event under which you can participate in teaching events. The college has its fest named Culrav every year.

College has a lot of potential.
Placements: More than 80 percent of students who sat for the placements got placed. The highest package is around 72 LPA, the average is 22 LPA, and the lowest is around 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Intel, Samsung, Nvidia, MediaTek (core roles) along with Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Adobe, and other tech companies for software roles. Top roles offered include VLSI Design Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer, Communication Engineer, Software Development Engineer (SDE), Data Engineer, and Analyst roles.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are kind of old but the hostel is good. Labs are good but the equipment in labs is old and sometimes doesn't work. Wi-Fi is there. The library is there but it close at 10:00 PM. Food in the mess is good. Late-night canteen is there but it's not free. There's a dispensary for medical issues and is free for checkups and free medicine (except for some of them). We get health insurance too. Sports facilities are good. There's a ground, tennis court, badminton court, and a basketball court.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable and the teaching quality is good. It's just that you need to pay attention in class and attend regularly. The course is pretty relevant and does help in making the students industry-ready. The semester exams are very tough ECE subjects are tough on their own. The passing percentage goes around 30 percent.
Other: I chose this course keeping in mind the booming semiconductor industry. ECE is an evergreen branch. It's just that it's tougher than other branches. Events in this college are decent, the crowd is good, connectivity is good, and campus surroundings are also good as it is in the main city. The scholarships are of various kinds for UP students. There's the UP scholarship and for students from other states and there are other state scholarships. Many different kinds of extracurricular activities are available like yoga, NSS, etc.

College review of MNNIT Allahabad.
Placements: Placement is good for top branches like CSE, ECE, and Electrical, and core branch placement is not good. Medium-level placement for the core branch. Many companies come to this college, but not all companies allow all branches, only the top branch is allowed, and maintain your CPI for this college because CPI is the main part of placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, not very good. The college campus is very small. The college campus is 222 acre but 100 acre boys ' hostel and the 122-acre girls' hostel are not allowed for boys, as it is on the girls' side. Many sports ground but not in good condition.
Faculty: Faculty is very strict, and the curriculum is very hard compare all NIT Allahabad is the top NIT. That's why study loads are very high, lecture after lecture for all time. The exam paper level is moderate to high, and the marking of the paper is decent. The faculty is top-minded and very talented.
Other: College life is not so good, with an average infrastructure of the college and strict attendance criteria.

Top tier placements but can’t say the same for the infrastructure.
Placements: The placements of our college are one of the main reasons why most students join our college. The average package is close to many top IITs, especially for circuital branches. Almost 91 percent of all eligible students are placed in Production and Industrial Engineering by the end of the placement season.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one thing that our college lacks and isn’t able to compete with other Tier-1 colleges. It is suggested not to come expecting some luxurious campus experience, but you will surely get every facility essential for survival. The hostels are well maintained, but you shouldn’t expect AC rooms or something fancy. The mess food is good and edible.
Faculty: The faculty here are really well-educated and qualified. They are all well-spoken and they do care about students and students’ future. The course curriculum is a little outdated, but the industrial training programs are good. The semester exams can be passed easily if you study well.
Other: Came here for the brand value and placements. The coding culture is the best part, you are surrounded by people grinding for top jobs, which keeps you motivated. The infrastructure needs serious work, classrooms and hostels are old. Mess food is repetitive. Fests are the only time campus feels truly alive. The crowd is top-tier, but don’t expect a fancy college life. You come here to study and get a great job, not for the lifestyle.

Dissatisfied with the faculty, but the college is good because of the students and the environment.
Placements: 81.82% of ECE students got placed in 2025. The maximum package is 72 LPA, the minimum is 4.5 LPA, and the average is 22.98 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Qualcomm, Samsung, Intel, AMD, Cisco, ST Microelectronics, Nvidia, and Texas Instruments. 20% got internships in ECE. 20-30% (Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Flipkart, Qualcomm, Texas, Intel). Top roles of my course (Software Development Engineer, Data Analyst, Hardware Code Role).
Infrastructure: Average lab instruments are not in good working condition. Wi-Fi is good; classrooms are typically old, built with damaged batches and are not that well-maintained. The floor of the hostel is messed up, so crowded, and water and cleaning facilities are not properly available. The mess is okay, not that good. Sports facilities are in good condition, and proper practice is active for inter-college matches.
Faculty: Not many teachers are qualified, but they're not good at teaching. I like teaching quality more in local colleges. The course curriculum is properly relevant. It’s slightly different but still meant for the branch. Semesters are required, much more difficult, and you must fulfil the criteria to be educated.
