B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2029

It has great placements but less space, so sports facilities are limited.
Placements: About 79.29 percent of students got placed in the year 2025. Most of them opt for tech roles. The highest package offered is 63.78 LPA and the lowest package offered is 8 LPA. The average package offered is 22.14 LPA in electrical, and the overall average package offered is 20.43 LPA. Students from any branch can go out for tech jobs, and the only requirement is their CPI. A total of 558 companies visit the campus. Students got internships in good companies based on their skills.
Infrastructure: The electrical department has versatile facilities. However, most of the instruments in labs do not work properly and are quite old. Classrooms have wooden sitting benches and are equipped with the internet. The hostel for 1st year is quite good with spacious rooms accommodating 4 students and some with 3 students as well. The mess serves pure vegetarian food. The menu is decided by the mess committee, headed by students only.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely great in this department, and are always helpful. They are knowledgeable, and one can view their profiles on the college's website. The core subjects begin with basics, going uptill electronics as well in later semesters. Semester exams are, as usual, with questions not too difficult in the initial semesters. Students who study can gain good grades.
Other: The campus is quite well accomplished. Though it is smaller than other colleges, it has good facilities and a lush green campus. However, the movement is limited for boys as they are not allowed to pass through the underpass. I wish the college would change instruments in labs with new ones because they are not working properly now, like some kits have wrong ammeter readings, etc.

Satisfied, you have very good opportunities and environment, and placements are good.
Placements: Placement ratio is quite good, but it all depends on your skills and ability here. One should not think that the college tag will help him. As an electrical guy, it is quite difficult to get a job in the software domain, although it is a circuit branch, but the priority of tech companies is always CSE, ECE, and then EE comes for them. For a high-paying job, you will look forward to a software job, for that, you need to work on your skills from the very beginning. Although if you try, you will get a great job. You get many opportunities over here. Although this year, placement for EE is not that good. The highest package for last year was 63 LPA, and the average was about 22 LPA. Also, the internship record decreased this year, indicating that we have to increase our efforts for a good job.
Infrastructure: Facilities over here are decent and good, but talking about infrastructure, it is not up to the mark. The building is old and not very attractive or aesthetic. Classrooms are also okay types. Labs are maintained well, and all equipment is there. Free Wi-Fi is available in every building and hostel. Hostel facilities for 1st year students are really very good, nice rooms, washing machines, and good food. But the 2nd and 3rd year boys' hostel is not good. Medical facilities are provided with good canteens. Sports grounds are well-maintained, but equipment is not provided by the college. College is very small.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, and quite helpful. Teaching quality is not up to the mark, you have to study on your own mostly. The course curriculum is relevant and useful for students. Semester exams are not very tough, you can easily score above 8 CPI even if you start studying late. The passing percentage is not very high, you have to score more than 15 marks for a 70-mark written exam, including mid and end sem. Although you have to manage your labs and projects properly, it is not a very tough task. Classes remain off for Saturday and Sunday.
Other: Events over here are decent, if you have a good friend group, then you will enjoy. But don't expect too much from this college. As it focuses more on academics, our exams and all events are postponed. The freshers' party is also very bad. Scholarships are provided.

Awesome placements and crowd, decent enough infrastructure and curriculum.
Placements: The placements here are awesome, as reflected by the states. 72 percent of the students are placed on campus with a median package of 12.5 LPA. Other than the core sector, students are also placed into the technical sector as well. In our college electrical engineering students can sit for both core and technical roles.
Infrastructure: The labs are well equipped. Some equipments are old but the majority is in good condition. The first year hostel is great with a small garden in the front and back side and also a badminton court on the ground floor. The mess food is decent and edible, but definitely not something one will look forward to.
Faculty: Faculty members are okay. Some faculty members are really helpful and supportive while others are rigid and cranky. Most of the senior faculty members are old, therefore, they are not very helpful. Most of the faculty members teach in the class very poorly so that half the time you will be falling asleep. The curriculum is really well designed for someone aiming for the core sector it also has some CSE related courses as well. The exams are not very hard to pass. You can good CGPA with just 1 week of studies before the exams start, given you pay at least some attention in class. Teacher assistants (TAs) are responsible for helping the students perform the experiments and are very helpful.
Other: The events and fests are good but some people might find them too restricted, like with the strict rules in times etc. The campus is decent, has all the major sports facilities except swimming. The campus has greenery but is small. A large area of the college is reserved for the faculty members and female students where guys are not allowed.

Satisfied because of good placements, good infrastructure, and good professors.
Placements: 75 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest package is about 60 to 65 LPA while the average is about 22.14 LPA. Top companies include Amazon, Google, Uber, Ola, Zomato, Swiggy etc. The top role is in Software Engineering. Other roles are of the front end and back end.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very good. The quality of food in the mess is above average but the canteen, medical facilities, and sports are of very good condition. Wi-Fi facility is available with a good speed. Classrooms and library have good infrastructure and are very useful.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well qualified. The course curriculum is a little bit outdated. Semester exams are not that difficult but not very easy as well. The passing percentage is different in different subjects. Teaching quality is good and we can easily see what professors have taught.
Other: I chose this course based on my JEE rank. The best thing about my course is that it is not very difficult. One thing that I wish will be better is the quality of curriculum which is very outdated. Fest, events, connectivity, and extra activities are good.

Satisfied by whatever I am getting here and surely will you.
Placements: Being an institute of national importance, placement is assured if anyone remains consistent throughout their academic years. The placement state is nearly equal to decent IITs and absolutely far better than private colleges. The average placement is on a higher side for circuital branches such as CSE, ECE, and EE.
Infrastructure: The campus area is not that big as of few IITs, but still vast greenery can be observed throughout the campus. Basic sports facilities are being provided. There is a gymnasium for both boys and girls. The infrastructure of the hostel can vary as there are 4 different hostels for each year. The quality of food that is being provided in mess is better as compared to other NITs.
Faculty: Surely the teachers are well qualified as being professors in MNNIT. If someone keeps attending their lectures and keeps following their commands, they will certainly score well in exams. The marking criteria is slightly biased for the students which are known to the professor.
Other: The environment of the college majority focuses on academics, yet fests are being organized on a regular basis, which are the only eventful days in our campus.

Good placement, poor infrastructure.
Placements: Placement of MNNIT is even more than some IITs. Last year, out of 408 students in my branch, CSE 397 got placed. Almost 90 percent of students got placed every year in my branch. The highest package of last year is 74 LPA, and 2 years before it was 1.25 crores per annum. The average package is 23 LPA. Some top recruiting companies on our campus are DE SAHW, JP MORGAN, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Google, and many more. Out of 400 students, 100 students got internships easily in my branch in the 3rd year with a good amount.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of MNNIT is not so good, it was just to spend and cut our 4 years of life on campus. The college campus is not so big, and also only 1-2 canteen is good, there is only one main playground and only one net practice for cricket and also no regular sports are held here. Wi-Fi speed is 90 mbps only, classrooms are decent, not so dreamy here, even the most demanded branch CSE department looks like a primary school here. The 1st year and 4th year boys' hostel are excellent, but the 2nd and 3rd year are poor.
Faculty: It is fine that teachers are well-educated and supportive in class and outside the class. Teaching quality is also good for some professors, but it is also not so good for some of them. The course curriculum is relevant, and it also makes students industry-ready so that they get an internship. Semester exams are not too difficult if you study average, then you can easily get 8CPI here.
Other: I chose this course because of its placement, only because before joining, I knew about the infrastructure and college life, but I compromised it for placement. CSE of MNNIT is too good and comparable with IITs. If the infrastructure of the college is changed, then it stands to be the top 1 NIT, which is the only thing that hides the real potential of this college. The annual fest name is Culrav and is an awesome tech fest, and many events are arranged during these 5 days. Garba night also happens during Navratri, and a hackathon is also arranged every year.
