There are few entrance exam scores; those scores are accepted for admission to LLM. Students should have at least 55% marks from a recognised university. Yes, NALSAR University of Law offers one-year LLM programme in a full-time mode. The course admission is entrance-based. Candidates are admitted to the PG course based on CLAT score. Candidates who meet the CLAT cutoff become eligible for participation in the counselling round. NLU or seats in the university is allotted through this round. To take admission in this course, aspirants should apply on the CLAT website.

Aspirants who have passed a three-year LLB course with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for NALSAR University of Law LLM programme. However, admission committee may decide to reduce the percentage of qualifying exam. Aspirants appearing for the qualifying exam in April/ May are also eligible to apply.

LLM is one of the popular courses of NALSAR University of Law. Talking about the placements, 48 out of 66 students were successfully placed in the recent placement drive. The median package offered to LLM students was INR 7 LPA. As per the NIRF report, the package was same as in 2021. 

NALSAR University of Law, don’t offer admission to BA LLB and LLM programmes without a valid CLAT score. Candidates looking forward to practising law in India, are required to clear the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) that is conducted by BCI. On clearing the AIBE exam, lawyers are awarded a ‘Certificate of Practice’ which is mandatory for practising the profession as an advocate in India. However, aspirants who wish to apply for MBA or BBA may not require CLAT and can get admission based on other accepted entrance exams.

The NALSAR Hyderabad BA LLB (Hons) cutoff 2025 has been released for the first round. NALSAR admission to the law courses is based on candidates' performance in the CLAT entrance exam, followed by counselling rounds. For the OBC category students in the All India quota, the CLAT Round 1 cutoff 2025 stood at 1219. For the same category, the first round closing rank was 1532 in the home state quota. Considering the cutoff data, it is evident that the cutoff is more competitive for the students belonging to the AI quota as compared to the HS quota.
