There is confusion about the fact that the NLU Jodhpur MBA course is in insurance and insurance risk management with a fee of Rs. 2,35,000/year for two years. Jaipur National University offers an MBA course in dual specialisation and hospital and health care management with fees of Rs. 1,80,500 per year for two years. At NLU, there is no entrance exam for the selection process; it is based on merit. The JNU entrance exam (CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT) is clear for the selection process. In NLU, the admissions process is not lengthy, but fees are higher, and in JNU, the fees are lower, but the selection process is tough.

NLU Jodhpur is a public law school and a National Law University established under the National Law University, Jodhpur, Act, 1999 enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature. At NLU Jodhpur University, there are two courses to pursue in MBA. MBA in Risk and Insurance, at which the fee is INR 2,35,000/year for two years. Another is the MBA in Insurance, at which the fee is the same as the first one. 

NLU Jodhpur students have been given an average rating of 4.4 stars (out of 5) to the university's MBA placements. The placement rate ranges between 65% and 100%. Based on a student review, the highest package is around INR 15 LPA and the average package is around INR 9 LPA. Top recruiters include ICICI Lombard, HDFC Ergo, and Bajaj Allianz. Top job roles are risk analyst, underwriter, and claims manager.

According to media reports, of all the recruiters, Trilegal hired the highest number of students (12) during NLU Jodhpur placements 2024. In addition to this, 2 training contracts from international firms were received.

The NLU Jodhpur MBA average package details have not been released for 2024. However, the NIRF report 2022 consists of median package data offered to the 2021 batch.

The average salary package offered ranges between 4-5 LPA. In some batches, there are 100% placements, and in some batches, there are 95% placements. The college also provides an internship.

The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. Top companies like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Bajaj, etc.

National Law University, Jodhpur is a public law school and a National Law University established under the National Law University, Jodhpur, Act, 1999 enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature. 

The university offers a four-semester fully residential M.B.A. programme with specialisation in Insurance. The intake capacity for the MBA programme is 40 Students with 15%, 7.5% and 3% seats being reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Physically Handicapped candidates respectively.

NLU Jodhpur can pursue a variety of career opportunities after purusing an MBA. As the MBA programme of NLU Jodhpur is offered under the specialisation of insurance, the students usually get placed in insurance companies in the private and government sectors.
