The CLAT PG 2026 third merit list is out for RMLNLU admission to the PG-level LLM programme. The fourth merit list will be out on May 2, 2026 (10 PM).
- The CLAT UG 2026 third merit list for the 5-year integrated UG-level law programmes has been postponed till further notice. A fresh counselling schedule will be released soon.

RMLNLU Lucknow Cutoff 2026 was out for Round 1 for admission to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programme for students under the All India quota. The Round 1 closing cutoff rank for the General AI students was 747 for the BA LLB (Hons) course. For the same category, the Round 1 closing rank for Master of Law (LLM) course was 290, indicating that the competition for this course is higher than the BA LLB (Hons) course.

The applicants are systematically admitted to the LLM programme at RMLNLU. Candidates have to first register and apply for the CLAT PG, which is the requisite test that allows them entry into the institution. After the declaration of the result for CLAT PG, candidates shall look for a cut-off list released by RMLNLU. Candidates who will meet the cut-off shall be considered for counselling. Upon selection, candidates have to complete the formalities related to admission and deposit the prescribed fee.
NLU Lucknow CLAT cutoff 2024 for Round 3 is out. Candidates must note that the ranks for the few other categories hasve been released apart from General category. The eligibility criteria for the BA LLB Hons course at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow (NLU Lucknow) are as follows :
- There is no upper age limit for the undergraduate programme in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
- Candidates must have secured 45% marks or its equivalent grade in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination) if they belong to the General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories.
- Candidates must have secured 40% marks or equivalent in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination) if they belong to the SC/ST categories.
- Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April are also eligible to appear in the CLAT examination. However, they shall be required to produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
- The result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course.
The admission to the BA LLB Hons course for the academic year 2024 is based on the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), which was conducted on 2 Dec ’23 .

As per 2024 cutoff data, it looks like you can make it to RMLNLU. With OBC rank of 1721 you can get into RMLNLU.

To get the RMLNLU requires a strong score on the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). Scoring around 70-75 in mocks can be a good starting point, being a OBC candidate, since some NLUs have reserved seats for OBC categories, which increases your chances to get the college for that reserved seat.
