Best faculty is present in the college.

Placements: Starting from the third semester, our college initiates the placement process, ensuring that all students secure placements by the end of the course. The college guarantees 100% placement based on students' specializations and interests. Along with renowned IT companies, prominent firms such as Delloite, PWC, EY, and KPMG participate in the placement drive. Additionally, companies like Genpact and banks including ICICI, HDFC, and IDFC also offer placement opportunities. Personally, I have been placed at Genpact, and my future plan is to join the company to further develop my career.

Infrastructure: The college provides hostel facilities, but students in the Liberal Arts program do not have access to the AC hostels. Instead, they are offered non-AC accommodations, which are not exactly hostels but serve the purpose. These accommodations cost around 1-2 Lacs, which is not worth it considering the lack of AC in Mumbai. It is recommended to consider PGs or flats instead, although they can also be expensive. In my first year, I stayed at WISH in a 6-sharing room in Juhu for 3 weeks. Despite not being able to study in the room and facing personal space issues, it was a good experience. The cost was high for 6 sharing, but it was justified due to the proximity to the college. If you are willing to travel a bit further, you can find cheaper and better options. I later moved to another WISH accommodation, which was a 20-minute walk from college. It was an amazing apartment where I paid 3.5 Lacs for one year in a 3-sharing arrangement. This included food, AC, TV, and house help. The hostel fee is INR 350000 per year.

Faculty: 1. Due to my proficiency in numbers and my keen interest in stock markets and finance modeling, I decided to pursue finance as my field of study. The educational facilities provided here are exceptional, with highly qualified faculty members who have graduated from renowned universities. Additionally, we benefit from the expertise of visiting faculty members. The academic year is divided into trimesters, with term exams taking place every three months. The class size is 49 students, and the cost of the course is INR 900,000 per year.

Faculty needs improvement

Learning Experience: Learning experience here was great and NMIMS is good platform for the training and it makes a huge impact in the career of the students, but the students has to face a lot of struggle while studying here.

Placements: Placements were really good here, many companies like Wipro, Tata and Ultratech were the recruiters on campus. Internships are provided by the college itself.

Faculty: Faculty here is good but they are very strict towards the students and their problems, students has to purchase other courses apart from the college lecture for the completion of degree.

Course Support: Course support is not good here at NMIMS, the students has to solve their problems themselves or via library. The syllabus is very lengthy and notes are not provided by the professors.

Honestly, Investment Banking itself is a course you can do. And I would highly suggest going for a short term course duration of 5-10 months . And Focus on gaining practical Hands on experience with projects.

Which institute is more affordable for pursuing an MBA between MSRIT and NMIMS Bangalore?
