What is JSAT Law 2026?
JSAT Law is conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of JGU. The test comprises questions based on analytical reasoning, logical reasoning and reading comprehension.
To take the JSAT Law entrance exam, candidates can book their exam slots immediately after filling out the JSAT Law application form. They can select the exam time as per their convenience. The JSAT Law exam result is provided to candidates within 48 hours of the commencement of the exam through their application portal.
Note: JSAT Law is not applicable to admission in the 5-year BA LLB, BCom LLB, BBA LLB (Hons), BA in Legal Studies programme. Candidates will have to qualify the LNAT exam for admission to the 5-year Integrated LLB courses at the JGLS.

Yes, students currently in their final year of graduation can apply for JSAT Law for admission to LLM. However, their admission will be provisional, based on the condition that they successfully complete their graduation exams and fulfill the eligibility criteria for the law programme they are applying for. Candidates will need to present proof of passing their LLB all semester exams during counselling or admission.
There is no upper age limit for candidates to get admission to LLM programme through JSAT Law. They only need to meet the JSAT Law eligibility criteria, crack the entrance and obtain marks equal to or greater than the JSAT Law cutoff for admission.
