The KIIT School of Law released the K-LAT 2026 Counselling dates on the official website, kiitee.kiit.ac.in. The KIITEE Law Result is available to download from the official website. The candidates who qualify for the KLAT 2026 can participate in the K-LAT Counselling Online. As per the official schedule, the last date of choice filling is January 28, 2026. The institute will release the KIITEE Law provisional branch allotment on January 30, 2026.

  • KIITEE Admit Card & Rank Card

  • Recent passport-sized photographs (2 copies)

Q:   Can I fill K-LAT Application Form in offline mode?
A: 

No, you cannot fill the K-LAT application form offline. The process is entirely an online procedure. Applicants must:

  • Register and submit the form on the official KIITEE portal (e.g., kiitee.kiit.ac.in or law.kiit.ac.in).
  • Upload scanned documents (photograph, signature, academic records) as part of the online submission.?
  • Pay any applicable fees online (though typically, no application fee is charged).?

Earlier editions once allowed offline forms, but from recent years, including KIITEE Law 2024/2025, only online applications are accepted. 

Q:   Who can apply for KIITEE Law Entrance Exam?
A: 

The following applicants are qualified to take the KIITEE Law Entrance Exam or K-LAT in 2026:

Educational Requirement: Must be enrolled in or have passed a recognised board's 10+2.

Particular to the stream: General  Candidates for a B.A. or BBA in law may come from any field, however those pursuing a B.Sc. LL.B. must have a background in  10+2.

 Minimum Score: 40% for SC/ST/OBC collegebatch.com students and 45% overall for general and PwD candidates.

 Candidates in the final year of high school are eligible to apply as long as they submit their grade reports to collegebatch.com prior to admission.

 Age: According to the guidelines of the Bar Council of India, there is no upper age limit.

Q:   What is a duration of KIITEE Law Entrance Exam 2026?
A: 

The KIITEE Law Entrance Exam or K-LAT 2026 will last for 150 minutes, or two hours and thirty minutes.  Applicants must finish:

  •  There are 120 multiple-choice questions that span legal aptitude, logic, English, GK, and numeric aptitude.
  • Allotted without any sectional time constraints, inside a rigid 150-minute time period 

 There is a penalty for erroneous responses, and each right answer receives +3 marks (or +4 in some patterns).  Since the entire work needs to be finished in this amount of time, make sure you divide your time effectively across the sections.

For admission to its five-year integrated law programs—B.A. LL.B., BBA LL.B., and B.Sc. LL.B.—the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, administers the KIITEE Law Exam or K-LAT.  Legal aptitude, general knowledge, verbal ability, logical reasoning, and maths are among the topics covered in the online test.  Candidates must be under 22 years old and have completed their 10+2 with at least 45 per cent of the possible points (or 40 per cent for reserved groups).  The KIITEE Law score is used for selection, and counselling is then conducted.  It provides access to a reputable legal school with excellent facilities and job opportunities.
