Below-average facilities, too many fees, and no placement.

Placements: Very few placements drive, also non-tech. I didn't see any tech placement from my batch or my senior batch. Only non-tech companies came and took students. Only paid internships are available for hcl company, they provide B.Tech students' placement in bank companies.

Infrastructure: There is water shortage in the hostel in summer, also no drinking water facilities on campus. Poor infrastructure, food is very bad in the hostel, a very bad menu, and also very strict timing. No sports grounds and court also kettles, and indexen are not allowed. The canteen is also very bad, there are only a few things there.

Faculty: Average teaching, not much for practical, only theoretical. The course does not make students industry-ready. Exams are very easy, anyone can pass with just one night of study. Teachers are not helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is also not relevant.

Other: Fees are too much, as per the college, they will ask exam fees, late fees, and many more. Also, they didn't provide internships, they only give paid internships.

Placements: Hello, I’m Asutosh Pastor. I enrolled in Oriental University Indore in September 2024 for B.Tech. In my class, there are 60 students. My fee is 70,000, and the actual fee is 75,000. Since I got 70% in Class 12, I received a discount. However, I asked for more discounts because I belong to the EWS category, but they did not provide any discounts for EWS. They only provide discounts for OBC and SC categories. The college and hostel are decent. .

Infrastructure: In the hostel, there are many types of seating. I chose a three-seater because it is the cheapest, and it costs me about ₹67,000 per year. In this, I get one almirah, one chair, and one study table. The biggest issue in the hostel is that there is no Wi-Fi at all. Wi-Fi is only available on the ground floor. If you want to download or do something on the internet, you have to go to the ground floor.

Faculty: The faculty is good and helps us with many things, such as telling us the exam questions, giving hints about the exams, and providing internal marks. There are two types of exams conducted in the college: internal and external practical exams.

Other: I think the college and hostel should be improved. I would like to tell you that there are only two water coolers in the whole college, and there is not a single water cooler in our hostel. There is only a tap from which we drink water. There is no Wi-Fi connection in the hostel and college, except for some places where we can access Wi-Fi. Also, there is no medical facility in the hostel.

The college and the facilities or infrastructure are good.

Placements: The percentage of students placed is average. Every year, many companies visit and give jobs to the students. The highest package is 72 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. There are many companies for my course, like Google and Microsoft. The average student got an internship.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi surveillance is available, and the smart classroom and the central library are located, and many other classes. The quality of food is average in the mess. There are four-time meals in the mess. A canteen is also located.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and friendly in nature. The teaching quality is good, and the teachers are very good. This course is very curriculum-relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exam in this college is a little tough. The pass percentage is you have to get 19 marks out of 60.

Other: I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in the field of computer science.

Review of Oriental University .

Placements: The placement rate of the university is the best, with 45 percent of the students getting placement and the average package of our university is around 3.5 lakh and the highest package of our university is 50 lakh. Many companies like Infosys, TCS, etc. are hiring from our university.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the university is good and management of the university is good canteens are well arranged and good food is provided. Furthermore, hostels are well-designed and maintained, and the meals are tasty. Many courses are available at our university with nice arrangements.

Faculty: The faculty of my college is great and supportive towards the students and also helpful in many things about the development of skills and academic sessions. Teachers are well qualified and their teaching methods are outstanding. There is no reason to dislike this type of faculty.

Other: Fests are organized by the college is too great and enjoying.

Absolutely great college value for money good at .

Placements: The average placements is for only 50% students. The highest placement was 12 Lacs per annum, average placement was 5 Lacs and the lowest placement was 2.3 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Infosys. Almost 70% students get internship from college mostly in Infosys and TCS. Top roles offered in my course is web designer front end developer .

Infrastructure: Excellent library, big classrooms with projector, advanced labs with wi-fi facilities are available. Well qualified faculty members are also there. Teaching method of faculty members is also very good. Hostel provides all necessary facilities like wi-fi, 24*7 water combined bathrooms with rooms, indoor badminton court, cctv, nice balcony with room of three types- single, double and triple seater. Mess is also very good, it provides healthy and hygienic food at proper time. Mess is very clean. Taste of food in mess is very good. Canteen is also very good, it provides large sitting area and large variety of food. 24*7 medical facilities are available in hostel. In the hostel you can play any sport, it provides mostly all games like badminton, table tennis, volleyball, cricket. Hostel also provides gym and indoor games are also available in hostel like chess, carrom.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well qualified and very knowledgeable. They provide the best way of teaching and teaching quality is also very good. In our university, there is very much curriculum activity like hackathon, quiz etc. It definitely make students industry ready. Exams in our university are held in two part- first semester and second semester. Between them, they hold 3 monthly tests. If you study in monthly tests, you can easily pass semester exams. Passing percentage is 33%.

Other: I have interest in Computer from starting that's why I chose this course. This is the best course for era, it provides job in almost all fields. In our course, they extend practical classes and focus on practical teaching. Scholarship are also provided by government and if you have more than 75% marks, University will also give you scholarship .
