The Faculty at its Best.

Placements: There were no placements held in our university, especially for our course. The normal route for M.A. English is to write JRF or to write for NET. No placements or any placement drive were conducted for our course and our subject. No percentage of students were placed in our subject.

Infrastructure: The outside infrastructure of the university is beautiful because it is a historical monument, but the classrooms and washrooms are not that well maintained or that good. The inside infrastructure needs serious development. These are things that need to be taken care of.

Faculty: The faculty is the best, and that is the prime reason people choose to apply for this university. It is an esteemed university. The teachers are professional and qualified. The curriculum is very much relevant to the Master's that is being pursued. It does make the students ready for their future endeavors. The exam conducted is mediocre, and the marks allotted are very hard to gain. The highest CGPA was 8 until 2024 in our subject. No one could cross that GPA.

Other: There are two categories under which the students fall: one is regular, and the other is self-finance. Through the entrance exam which is conducted, those who fall under regular pay a lesser amount of fee, while those under self-finance pay more than regular students. It is a quota that the university has. I come under self-finance, so that is the reason I had to pay a sum of 21,000. Whereas the regular students pay 14,000. For our course, the students with scholarships pay even less. The campus is very beautiful, but there is always some protest or political rally going on. This university is known for its politics. There is always a crowd outside of the university.

Osmania University, best for the students.

Placements: This is a university that has multiple departments and also has a good name that the students here are well-qualified. The student with efforts will surely get a placement in their fields. The university was always ready in helping students in providing jobs and the internships.

Infrastructure: It has all the facilities like a library, where we can find all types of books to study, a classroom with a projector to explain student in depth. And also it has all the types of activities such as sports and the cultural. Also, a canteen is available here that was okay, but it doesn't have all the facility in the canteen. But, the hostel food provided by the university is good with an affordable price.

Faculty: In case of the faculty, we have a very good faculty with experienced and friendly nature They also help us in every aspect such as careers and problems. They maintain a specific time period according to semesters and provides a quality of knowledge which helps students in getting settled in industries.

Other: This university is with multiple departments. It also has conducted fests and many cultural events that help in knowing something new. It maintains a crowd of more than 3,000 members of all the departments. The whole university is with a green cover. This has a place where the students can sit and study peacefully.

This is an all time satisfactory university in all the mediums.

Placements: The placements as such are not available for arts stream, but science and other streams have placements to the merit percentage of 75-80 and above. A few circulars will be posted on the notice board for other job purposes. In general, call centre jobs or part-time jobs are provided. The salaries will be provided according to the capability of your etiquette and the personality features and are less concerned about the academics. In a few cases, other programs had special benefits but my course didn't have any such.

Infrastructure: In the last year (2017), Osmania University had successfully completed its centenary celebrations. It was established in the year 1917. There is a huge darbar hall on account of an old monument, with a lot of other branches blended in it. Law and engineering colleges are also being developed with every element that is the best of the best and satisfactory as well. The students do have a lot of attention towards the university which has a fantastic infrastructure with beautiful architectural sculptures on the darbar hall with a huge and massive entrance door opening. The classrooms and the canteens are well up to their mark, and the hostels had separate building facilities for each programme with high-speed Wi-Fi zones and peaceful atmosphere which you'll never feel to leave and go.

Faculty: Towards the faculty, there is no issue regarding this question in Osmania University. Most of the teachers are well educated and highly knowledgeable spirits, and we soothe ourselves. As a literature student, my teachers are perfectly similar characters as gods. They are prominently displayed to the merit personalities around us. About the course curriculum, in my perspective, I recommend you to choose literature for adding real meaning to your life and learn its values.

Other: In Hyderabad, Osmania University is prominent to other constituents and affiliated colleges that come under this. Any summit or fests like recent all India English council had made their programme successful on account of the worldwide operation in literature. Many sports are played as well. Good scholarships including merit-based scholarships will also be given with salary amount of Rs. 30,000 per year.
