How to Apply for CPGET Exam?

The CPGET registration and application submission are conducted completely online. CPGET application process includes four steps. These are:

1. CPGET Registration

First, visit the official CPGET website and click on the ‘apply online’ tab. Fill the registration form with all correct information. Do not leave any field that is marked as mandatory empty. 

Students should note down the registration ID and password for application form submission and future purposes.

2. Fill Out CPGET Exam Application Form

After registration, login to official website, using your registration ID, mobile number, and date of birth to fill and submit CPGET online application. Fill out form using real and correct information. Check the application form at least once before final submit. Students should know that candidates will be held responsible for any incorrect/ inconsistent entries in the form. 

Note: A candidate can apply for up to four subjects using just one form, but you will have to pay a fee for every extra subject you add.

3. Upload Documents

Before submitting the online application, candidates must upload scanned copies of the required documents as per the guidelines. Osmanis University will release the detailed guidelines for CPGET documents along with the official notification. 

4. Payment of Registration Fee

After successful registration, a registration ID will be made and sent to the student. You can use that login ID to pay the fee, upload the right documents, and fill out your CPGET exam application form. 

Students must check all the information before clicking the save/ submit key. Students are advised not to miss uploading the relevant documents in their specific fields. Incomplete forms will be rejected. 

CPGET Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria (Commerce)

The CPGET eligibility criteria help students understand who can apply for different M.Com programmes. Before filling the application form, candidates should check the minimum qualification clearly. This avoids rejection at a later stage. Course-wise eligibility for CPGET M.Com programmes is listed below.

CPGET Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria (Arts) 

For all courses under the Faculty of Arts, students need to get a certain percentage or CGPA in their qualifying exam. You must have at least 40% marks or an equal CGPA to apply. For SC and ST students, just passing the qualifying exam is enough. Even if you passed the exam compartmentally but got the needed marks or CGPA, you can still apply. Every course runs for two years.

iii) Must have studied the Arabic language in a Bachelor’s Degree, either in Part I or in Part II for at least two years and for a minimum of 200 marks.

M.A. English

i) Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi as one of the languages.

or

ii) Must have studied the Hindi language in a Bachelor’s Degree, either in Part I or in Part II for at least two years and for a minimum of 200 marks

M.A. Kannada

i) Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with Kannada as one of the languages.

or

ii) Must have studied the Kannada language in a Bachelor’s Degree, either in Part I or in Part II for at least two years and for a minimum of 200 marks. 

M.A. Marathi

i) Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with Marathi as one of the languages.

or

 ii) Must have studied the Marathi language in a Bachelor’s Degree, either in Part I or in Part II for at least two years and for a minimum of 200 marks..

or

 iii) Any Graduate who studied in Marathi medium in 10th or 12th standard.

or

 iv) Any Graduate who studied Marathi, Hindi & Sanskrit as a second language for a Bachelor’s Degree. 

M.A. Persian

i) Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with Persian/ Arabic/ Urdu as one of the languages.

or

ii) Must have studied the Persian/ Arabic/ Urdu language in a Bachelor’s Degree, either in Part I or in Part II for at least two years and for a minimum of 200 marks. 

M.A. Sanskrit

i) Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit as one of the languages.

or

ii) Must have studied the Sanskrit language in a Bachelor’s Degree either in Part I or in Part II for at least two years and for a minimum of 200 marks. 

M.A. Telugu
