CPGET MEd, MPEd Result 2026: Check Scorecard & Rank List Here

The CPGET result will be available online. Kakatiya University does not send the rank card by post. Candidates must download it online. Follow these steps to access your result:

1. Visit CPGET website: cpget.tsche.ac.in

2. Click on "TG CPGET Results / Rank Card" link displayed on the homepage

3. Enter your Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth in login fields

4. Click Submit - your result will appear on screen

5. Download and take a printout of Rank Card for use during counselling

The steps you need to follow to check CPGET results and download your rank cards are listed below.

1. First, you must visit website for CPGET exam.
2. Once you land on official page, look for a banner under main logo. That banner will show a link saying CPGET Rank Cards. You should click on that ‘Rank Card’ link, this action will take you to a brand new page on your browser.
3. You can find your ranks online when you enter these details:
• Your Hall Ticket Number
• Application Number you were given
• Your Date of Birth
4. Your CPGET 2026 rank card will show up. They want you to know university is not going to mail rank card, so you definitely have to download it and take a printout for any future need.

You must paste your latest passport-size photo (same one used in your application) on downloaded CPGET rank card in given space and get it attested. This rank card is required for document verification process. Admission to your course will be based on your CPGET 2026 exam rank.

CPGET exam is worth 100 marks. Each correct answer earns 1 mark. There is no negative marking. Ranks are given based on total marks scored.

Tie-Breaking Rules: If candidates score same marks, the tie is broken by:

• Marks obtained in Part A of exam
• Age (older candidate gets higher rank)
• Percentage in qualifying exam

Once your CPGET rank is known, you can estimate your college and course eligibility using previous year opening and closing rank data. Here's how to use your rank strategically:

• Compare your rank against the previous year CPGET closing ranks for your preferred course and university

• Factor in your category - SC/ST, BC, EWS, and OBC candidates have reserved seat quotas

• About 20% of supernumerary seats in each course in campus and constituent colleges of universities are available to candidates from states other than Telangana and Andhra Pradesh under National Integration Quota

• Admission to 85% of seats in every course is reserved for local candidates in relation to local area in Telangana. Remaining 15% of seats, open to both locals and non-locals, are filled subject to similar reservation norms

Qualifying in CPGET is just the first step. Here are the complete post-result phases:

• Counselling Registration: Candidates who qualify CPGET cutoff must attend CPGET counselling. Register on official counselling portal and pay required counselling fee.
• Web Option Filling & Locking: After registration, candidates need to choose and lock their preferred colleges from enlisted list. 
• Seat Allotment: Candidates must download provisional allotment letter from Kakatiya University official website.
• Certificate Verification: Candidates must carry following documents to allotted college for verification:

  • Printed CPGET Rank Card / Score Card

  • Hall Ticket of CPGET Exam

  • Class 10 and 12 Marksheets and Certificates

  • Graduation Degree / Provisional Certificate

  • Category Certificate (SC/ST/BC/EWS)

  • Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate

  • Recent passport-size photographs

  • Valid government-issued Photo ID (Aadhaar/Voter ID/PAN)

• Fee Payment & Admission: Pay course admission fee at allotted college within given deadline to confirm your seat.

The CPGET cutoff is minimum score a candidate must score to qualify for counselling and seat allotment. TG CPGET cutoff for General and OBC candidates has remained at 25 marks since 2016. No specific cutoff has been released for SC/ST candidates.
