I am grateful to be an alumnus of this college, it's a great place.
Placements: I can't say much about placements as the drive runs during our exams. So, rarely do students from the batch get selected, but students from other batches do get selected, and oftentimes placement drives take place in college. Many seminars are held to teach us for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really cool. At MCM, we even have a girls' common room. It has AC and it is so comfy and relaxed, we often made assignments there, chilled, and worked on annual functions, chit-chat, and gossiped and had a amazing laugh.
Faculty: Faculty members are okay. But the teachers here are so helpful and sweet, they help a lot. Great teachers. The curriculum of the course is relevant and up-to-date. The semester exams are pretty good to examine us. They are good, according to the syllabus they taught us.
Other: I chose Sociology, and the best thing about this course is that it took me to the roots of society, why and what is happening around us. I love this subject. They can make it more technical in the future, and also need to add more research papers, campus and college events, and annual functions, which are damn fun that happen all the time in college. Loved it, enjoyed it.

Placements: My batch has about 40 students. It has a fee of about Rs. 18,000 INR. My course allows students to have placements in finance and economy-related companies. Students can get internships in the economics sector after the completion of this course. The top roles that can be achieved by this course are IES officer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and library infrastructure of the department are good on the campus, and the quality of hostels is also good. Their facilities for food, water, and sanitation are provided in the hostel. The food available in the canteen is hygienic and good. Medical facilities are also provided in the hostel. A game room and gymnasium is also provided.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. The teaching quality in the course is worth the money. The course curriculum is relevant at this time, making it eligible for a competitive exam. The semester exams in the college are not so difficult, but difficult enough for students ' preparation. The pass percentage is 4.5 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in economics and government services. The best thing about this course is that it provides you with real-time knowledge about the economy and the institutions and instruments working in the economy.

It is good for exposure and not for placements.
Placements: Psychology as a subject does not have placements directly but in the university, they do not exist at all. No company comes for interviews. Even though it is an arts degree, there are chances we will be able to figure out what to do after this if we have good contact with seniors and professors.
Infrastructure: The psychology lab does not have the required apparatus or software when it comes to practical or dissertation work. In this aspect, other colleges are better. But overall the university atmosphere is good. Hostels and food are available. All markets and medical facilities are nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and approachable if we try out. The course curriculum is relevant and not very difficult to complete in the given time. University culture has more to do with our own experiential attitude that helps to learn new skills. It is very easy to pass exams.
Other: Students can choose the university if they want exposure generally in life and our course as well. If students are someone who is very noted and study-oriented, then they might find it hard as here we have to do things on our own mostly. Even though teachers do take classes and help us when needed. They do not hand out all the required materials.

A dream university of many, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Placements: Half of my class has been placed with or above the package of 3.5 LPA. There are about 30 students in my class. The lowest package offered in our course is 3 LPA, and the highest till now has been 9 LPA. Many industries keep collaborating with the department, and a number of students get placed every year. Roles offered in private companies are accountants, clerks, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department is very well-furnished, and the infrastructure is very good. There are ACs in every class to bear the heat of Chandigarh. High-speed Wi-Fi is available for students. There is a separate library for every department in the university, with a common and huge library named AC Joshi. The hostel rooms are a little confined, but there are separate almirahs for every student with separate study tables. The hostel food doesn't even feel like hostel food, and it nearly feels like home-made food. The food is also affordable. There are numerous sports activities.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated. Not only the bookish language but they have the knowledge of the outside world also. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult. One can clear if they have an understanding of lessons.
Other: I wanted to become a professor in economics because this is my favorite subject, so I chose this subject. There are numerous curricular activities at the university, and PU is always full of a good crowd as it is the favorite place of everybody. Scholarships are also provided to students, and they just need to do some formalities. The tuition fee is reverted back to students.

Overall, the best college for M.A. in English course.
Placements: Placement is very good. Every year, around 70 to 80% of students get campus placement. Various companies, like Mahindra, Axis and HDFC Bank, visit campus to recruit students. The maximum salary package is 25 LPA and the minimum is 10 LPA. The average salary package is 15 LPA. Many students get internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of the college are very good. If we talk about Wi-Fi, it does not work. Also, there are serious network problems in the college and hostel areas. The food is not better than at other hostels. There are some hygiene issues in the hostel, but the cleanliness of the college is highly maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified. They are very helpful and honest. They are very kind and understand every problem or concern. They go out of their way to help students clear up every doubt. The curriculum is relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready. The semester exam is not very tough and the pass rate is 85%.
