PES University Admission 2026: Dates, Eligibility and Selection Fee & Application

The total tuition fee for PES University MBA is INR 14 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. The course fee is the amount that students need to pay to confirm their seat after selection rounds. Besides, there is a registration fee that aspirants need to pay in the start. The application fee is INR 1,200 for MBA course. Candidates can pay the fee via any of the online payment modes.

PES University MBA admission is based on entrance exam score. The university conducts PESSAT for a duration of 180 minutes to shortlisted candidates for MBA programme. Besides, PES also accepts national and state-level Management entrance exams for MBA admission. Follow the below steps to get a seat in MBA programme of PES University:

Eligibility: Candidates must complete a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate to register for MBA admission. Eligible aspirants can apply with an application fee of INR 1,200 for MBA.

Entrance exam: Aspirants need to qualify CAT, MAT, CMAT, PGCET or any other Management entrance exam. Candidates who have not qualified for any of these, can apply for PESSAT conducted by the university. The selected candidates are then called for GDPI round.

Counselling: Once the selection rounds are over, candidates can book their seat by paying the course fee.

MBA is one of the top courses of PES University. MBA course at PES University comprises of a core curriculum, an internship and elective courses over a time period spanning across two years. PES University MCA admission is entrance-based. Students who pass graduation with 50% aggregate in either BCA or BSc/BCom/BA are able to apply for this course. The selection is done based on a valid score of either PESSAT, which is conducted by the PES University for admission to all of its PG courses. Another way to get admission is through a state-level entrance exam of PGCET. The university selects students who qualify all the parameters of the selection process and allocates seats based a counselling round. 

MCA is a two-year course offered by PES University at the PG level. The admission to MCA at PES University is based on the Karnataka PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) followed by Karnataka PGCET Counselling. Candidates can also appear for PESSAT to get into MCA course. Aspirants also need to meet the eligibility requirements for getting admission. Aspirants need to pass graduation with minimum of 50% aggregate in BSc/ BCom/ BA with Mathematics as one of the subject to apply for MCA course. 

For admission to MCA at PES University, there is minimum eligibility criteria that needs to fulfil before applying for this course. Interested candidates need to pass graduation either with a minimum 50% aggregate in BSc/BCom/BA with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Class 12 or graduation level or in BCA with a minimum 50% aggregate. Final year students can also apply on a provisional basis, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria at the time of admission. The admission to MCA course will be based on PESSAT or PGCET score.

Yes, PES University conducts PESSAT for providing admission to BBA course. The university also considers the marks obtained in the qualifying examination for admission. In order to get admission to BBA at PES University, student need to pass Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate in the respective subjects as per the minimum eligibility criteria. The final selection is done based on the performance of candidates in the personal interview (PI) round, that is conducted at the university. 

Candidates who want to take admission in BBA at PES University must check their eligibility and appear for the university’s in-house entrance exam, i.e., PESSAT. The PESSAT 2025 exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test at the PES University campus and in 44 cities in the country. The university shortlists candidates based on entrance exam scores. PESSAT results are released within three days from the day of the test. Aspirants preparing for the university exam, must check PESSAT exam pattern and syllabus. Aspirants shortlisted based on the entrance exam score are further called for an interview round.

BBA is a popular course of PES University. PES University is ranked at 5 in the Outlook-ICARE India University Rankings 2020 and is the only University in Karnataka to rank in the top 30. BBA is available in four specialisations at PES, namely Business Analytics, General, Sports Management and Hospitality and Event Management. 

Besides, the university also conducts a placement drive every year. The 2023 placement data is yet to be released officially. However, as per the data fetched from multiple media reports, the PES University overall the highest package offered during 2023 placements was INR 65 LPA and the average package stood at INR 17.99 LPA.
