    BBA is a popular course of PES University. PES University is ranked at 5 in the Outlook-ICARE India University Rankings 2020 and is the only University in Karnataka to rank in the top 30. BBA is available in four specialisations at PES, namely Business Analytics, General, Sports Management and Hospitality and Event Management. 

    Besides, the university also conducts a placement drive every year. The 2023 placement data is yet to be released officially. However, as per the data fetched from multiple media reports, the PES University overall the highest package offered during 2023 placements was INR 65 LPA and the average package stood at INR 17.99 LPA.

    Q:   Is there any entrance exam for BBA in PES University?
    A: 

    Yes, PES University conducts PESSAT for providing admission to BBA course. The university also considers the marks obtained in the qualifying examination for admission. In order to get admission to BBA at PES University, student need to pass Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate in the respective subjects as per the minimum eligibility criteria. The final selection is done based on the performance of candidates in the personal interview (PI) round, that is conducted at the university. 

    Q:   Who can apply for BBA at PES University?
    A: 

    Candidates need to complete Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate in any stream from a recognised board to apply for PES University BBA programme. PES University offers a three-year course spread across six semesters.  get admission in the BBA course, students need to qualify for an in-house-based entrance exam conducted by the university, i.e., PESSAT, which is common for all the BBA specialisations offered at PES University. 

    Q:   Can I get admission in PES University for BBA with 60% in Class 12th?
    A: 

    PES University conducts PESSAT for admission into BBA programme. The minimum eligibility for the programme is passing Class 12 with atleast 50% of aggregate marks. Scoring 60% in Class 12 makes the candidate eligible for admission into BBA. However, the candidate must qualify PESSAT and the subsequent personal interview round to get a confirmed seat in the course at the university.

    All there is to know about PESU.
    Placements: About 35% of the students were placed, the highest being 7 LPA and the lowest being 2 LPA. Companies such as Deloitte, Oracle, TVS, and Microsoft, and many more recruit here. All students get internships; in fact, internships are mandatory. Although most students are eligible to get placed, they don't find the placements desirable and feel they aren't worth it.
    Infrastructure: Since I don't stay in the hostel, I can only provide reviews from my friends. They said the hostel facilities are good and the food is better than the food provided in PGs, to the point at which my friends who stay in PGs come to the college mess to have food. Wi-Fi and classrooms are amazing on the Ring Road campus, and in the city, it's not bad, but it's not comparable to the Ring Road campus.
    Faculty: The faculty is well-trained and knowledgeable. They know what they are talking about, and if you are a keen learner, they can help you beyond what students can even imagine. The college is very much into making industry-ready students who are ready to face the challenges, through the means of making the students write research papers, perform case studies, and they have worksheets which help the students get an insight into the problems faced in the industry. The exams are pretty simple for the BBA program, and there is not much to worry about, although you cannot just walk in and get good marks. Pay attention in class and read the notes, and you are good to go.
    Other: BBA is a simple course, yet the main objective of choosing BBA was to get a chance to make connections and learn the dos and don'ts of the business world. I feel there is a need to be a little more practical as to how the courses' teaching could benefit us in real life and try to foster and build creativity through the means of activities and projects, which will also help build our CVs. The top 5 percent of the students get a 50% reduced tuition fee as a scholarship. The next 10% get a 40% fee reduction. You can choose to join various extracurricular activities; both indoor and outdoor activities are available to a good extent, with the facilities being some of the best I've witnessed.

    BBA in PES offers exposure to the corporate world. Infrastructure is amazing.
    Placements: Around 60% of students get placed, with the highest package being 8 LPA. Infosys is a key recruiter, along with 80% of students placed in various startups. The roles offered include HR, Operations, and International Business. Big companies provide plenty of exposure to the industry and diverse skills. The crowd is diverse, with students from various parts of the country and some even from outside India. The flagship program of the college is Engineering.
    Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, along with well-equipped labs. The food quality is rated 3/5. Medical services are available, and the college provides good sports facilities, including a basketball court, table tennis, chess, a cricket ground, and more. The boys' hostel is located on campus, while the girls' hostel is 1 km away from campus.
    Faculty: Yes, all the teachers are very well qualified, and the quality of teaching can be rated 4/5. The course is absolutely relevant, and the college places a strong focus on CV building, which later helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult, with a pass percentage of 95%.

    Wouldn't recommend for BBA but if you want to enjoy college life this can be a place .
    Placements: 1. Approximately 30% students were placed. 2. The highest package was 7 LPA, the lowest package 1lpa Average 2-3 LPA. As much as I've heard. This data is according to my knowledge. 3. Dell, Accenture, tcs and other startups recruited us. 4. Not sure about internships - most of them got through internshala. 5. Sales, marketing manager.
    Infrastructure: 1. Wi-Fi is available, classrooms are well maintained, library might need an addition of new update books. 2. Never been to hostel but canteen is somewhat clean. Nothing negative except for the crowd. Medical facilities are available. The crowd is good, you will meet a lot of different people.
    Faculty: Teachers were helpful and qualified. They were knowledgeable as well. The teaching quality is good. I would disagree with the 2nd question. Lots of work needs to be done. We don't get those necessary fixtures. It's not that difficult. Pass percent would be 80-85 approximately.

    The environment and faculty members are very good in this college.
    Placements: Around 30% of students are doing BBA because it helps in improving students' managerial skills which will be applicable in their future. Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture are the top recruiting companies. Our college helps students to get placements in companies. Almost 10% of students get internships in Infosys.
    Infrastructure: The facilities are good in this college, and the environment is also fine. The security guards behave is good with students and batchmates. In other courses, students maintain a friendly relationship with everyone around them. Our college has 2 to 3 canteen, it is well maintained and clean. Athletes also get fee discount. The hostels and many more facilities are also available.
    Faculty: Faculty members are good, they help students in many ways like communication skills, facing issues in a good and healthy manner, etc. Exams are tough because they want students to analyse their studies according to exams. The curriculum is also good.
    Other: I chose this course to improve my managerial skills. It should make students deal with practical issues. Events, fests, campus, etc., are good in this college.

    I suggest choosing another college. I'm not satisfied with it.
    Placements: BBA students are not offered many placements in our college. Placements are great for engineering students, but there are no placements for BBA students, it is better to look for jobs outside, there is no point in joining this college. One thing I have noticed is that whatever specialisation is chosen, it has the fewest placements.
    Infrastructure: Our course is great, but the teachers do not teach anything. We have a very poor faculty. There are hardly three teachers and very poor teaching skills. The labs are good, but we do not have much access to them. The canteen is also very good, we have games conducted very frequently, and the classrooms are also good.
    Faculty: Please do not join this college for BBA in this college. The worst decision I have ever made in my life is to join PES. It just has a name, but they have very poor faculty. They have some visiting faculty coming in and teaching, but they only cover 2 modules, and they themselves do not have much understanding of the subject they are teaching. BBA has just 3 faculty members, and all 3 know how to target students, and they make sure that students fail exams. Students who are nice to them get good grades, students who write well in exams and who are not good to them get only D's and E's, and they make sure students fail. Teachers should learn how to teach their students equally without any partiality. There is only partiality in our college. You have to be very nice to teachers to get good grades, or else they will make sure you fail.

    PES University is well known for placements
    Placements: PES University is well known for placements. It has numerous companies in contact like Microsoft, Atlassian, Goldman Sachs, Cisco, Deloitte, Wipro, Intuit and many more. For B.Tech students wages are more compared to management students. People who are expecting good placements can join here without any fear.
    Infrastructure: PES EC campus has its own luxurious hostel just 400 mtrs away from college inside institution premises itself. And it is well-equipped with quality furniture like air conditioners and e learning. College has prominent bus services so we can travel with ease. Good infrastructures and environment is great there with classy food courts and restaurants.
    Faculty: Teaching faculty are just fabulous they give a perfect understanding to the concept with lots of examples and strategies. When it comes to examination it's bit hard to students because they keep frequent internals and tests and don't dare to cheat in PES.

    • MRD scholarships: If a student is among the top 20% in their section in terms of CGPA for a particular academic year, then the student will get a tuition fee waiver of 40% for the next academic year of study

Over 350 companies participated in the drive and presented over 1,500 placement offers to the students.
