Candidates must have Master’s degree with minimum mentioned marks in aggregate, or Equivalent Grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed). Relaxation: 5% marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) or equivalent grade relaxation may be allowed for: Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled and other categories as per UGC/State Government norms. Candidates who obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991.
