Our college does not provide placements, but it has good library.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements, but students can try off-campus, pursue a master's, or appear for competitive exams like UPSC. It provides several research opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our university has basketball and badminton courts, as well as football and cricket fields. Our campus consists of two libraries for science and art students, with plenty of books and journals but not digitised. Wi-Fi is available on the campus, which provides access to paid journals. Some books were not available in the library.

Faculty: The course curriculum is updated as per the new CBCS. Faculty members are brilliant. We have 20 papers for 6 semesters. The first four semesters have general education courses apart from the honors, in which students of the humanities are supposed to take at least two science subjects and vice-versa. We have 2 practical papers for each semester in the last two semesters that teach students how to write an academic paper, conduct surveys, present a paper, and so on.

Heritage College provides excellent education with a rich cultural awareness.

Placements: Students of science, mathematics and economics, social sciences and English departments are placed in well-established companies. Most years placement opportunities are high even though most opt for higher studies. English and social science departments also get opportunities in the HR department.

Infrastructure: The building is majestically built and recently celebrated its 200 years in 2018. The structure is a heritage symbol. It was recently renovated with all departments getting better infrastructure in terms of seating areas, etc. The entire college is Wi-Fi enabled and has three libraries. There is a 3-storey central library. There is a huge field where sports tournaments are regularly held. There are also multiple canteens.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are excellent. Each teacher has years of valuable experience and extremely knowledgeable. They also help whenever needed and give information and education past their requirements. Teaching methods include presentations, lectures, and in-depth research. The course curriculum is extensive and covers relevant topics.

Other: A fest is annually held, which is culturally vibrant. The campus is very inclusive, and teachers have excellent communications with the students.

Presidency University, legacy and heritage.

Placements: After the completion of B.A programme, many students joined other universities for Masters degree, whereas others got into jobs in media houses, banks and schools. The sciences department provides the best placements in many MNCs as well as in reputed institutions. The social sciences have provided a plethora of eminent academics, civil servants, journalists etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for social sciences was very good in the university. Presidency University always had the state-of-the-art facilities for its students and faculty, both regarding online and offline materials. The campus brings heritage site which has all the modern facilities.

Faculty: In political science, Presidency University is distinguished by the presence of eminent professors who helped us in every possible way to improve our skills in the discipline. Other disciplines are equally good with top academicians of the country teaching here.

Other: Presidency University, Kolkata is considered as one of the finest institutes in South Asia for Science and Social Sciences. It has been a campus where students are considered to be socially aware and innovative in their approach towards the society. The cultural milieu is very inclusive in nature and developmental in a holistic sense.

Presidency University, the Heritage of Kolkata, West Bengal & also India.

Placements: Presidency University offers various choices of courses along with a huge variety of placement. Anyway colleges offer a good placement with reputed jobs. Most of my seniors are now in the government sectors. The highest salary offered by the companies is about 50K and the lowest is about 16.5K. Various types of companies visited the college during placement like News Channels, NGO's, etc. Roles were offered to the students according to their course. An internship percentage of about 80% students got placed from the college. I personally don't know about the lowest stipend during the internship but the highest average stipend offered during the internship is about 4,500/PM. Yes, there is also a placement cell present to help the student to build their careers.

Infrastructure: Some years ago, College doesn't offer any wireless communication for their students, but now these facilities are available. There was a lab also present with all modern components and accessories. Some libraries are also present with a huge collection of all types of books. Unfortunately, a regular/monthly medical facility is not available for the students. College organizes many cultural events and seminar with collaboration. College infrastructure is very good, classrooms are open to breathe. Long typical wooden benches are available for all classrooms.

Faculty: Presidency University is one of the most reputed in Bengal, also a well-known university of democratic India. They never compromise with their reputation. All of the faculty members & professor's are highly qualified to their field. And they never compromise to spread knowledge with us. The course curriculum are designed to spread every thing about the topic of the course.

Other: In Presidency University, typical Bengali culture is observed by the students of Presidency University. The campus is always crowded. All types of Cultural Events, Fest, Seminars, Extracurricular activities are held with collaboration with many other colleges.
