The department has been making all efforts to maintain and develop highly professional relationships with HRD people in the industry to provide campus placement to all students. Usually, companies consider students with more than 60% marks eligible for campus placements. In the academic year 2013–14, several organisations visited or conducted interviews to recruit final-year students, and 116 were selected. The department has also forwarded the bio-data of students to several organisations for off-campus placements.

Infrastructure: The University Departments (UD, RTU) have an excellent infrastructure that provides a supportive environment for emerging talents. The sprawling 355 acres have an entire spectrum of buildings and amenities. The main academic area consists of department-wise academic blocks, workshops, and well-equipped laboratories catering to the curricular and research needs. A newly developed lecture hall complex provides modern classrooms specially designed for larger class sizes. There are separate buildings for specific programs like computer science, petroleum, aeronautical engineering, energy studies, and MBA. The library hosts lacs of books, e-journals, references, and modern ways of self-learning. The campus provides a comprehensive residential facility for students in the form of boys' and girls' hostels, and for teaching and supporting staff in the form of residential blocks. The campus has facilities for all major sports. Campus-wide networking and Wi-Fi at frequent locations make the campus fully connected with the world.

Faculty: Teachers are so helpful to every student and have a kind nature. Faculty members are all highly qualified from IITs and NITs. The courses are devoted to industry professionals.
