SIMATS does not offer a direct admission to B.Tech. An entrance exam is required.
The admission process for B.Tech is as follows:

• The JEE Mains and TNCE exams are used to provide admission at SIMATS
• Candidates who have been shortlisted based on their enterance exam scores are required to attend counselling sessions where they can select the B.Tech specialisation they want.
• The final merit list is prepared using factors other than JEE, such as 12th standard marks.

SIMATS Chennai admission process is based on both entrance test and merit list set by the university. To apply for UG courses, candidates must have atleast passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with 50% aggregate. For admission to UG courses, candidates must appear NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA. 

Admission to MBBS, BTech, MBA, M.Tech courses is done on the basis of NEET-UG, TNEA, TANCET, GATE exams respectively.

About 150 organizations, including major recruiters like Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, L&T Infotech, HPCL, PayPal, and others, took part in the 2023 B.Tech placements. 
Regarding MBBS placements: In 2023, almost 60 prestigious medical facilities and corporations hired recent MBBS graduates. Among the top employers were Vasan Healthcare, Apollo Hospitals, Kauvery Hospital, Fortis Healthcare, Manipal Hospitals, and more.
For BDS placements: In 2023, Saveetha's BDS graduates were hired by over 40 dental clinics, chains, and hospitals. Apollo White Dental, Clove Dental, Axiss Dental, Sabka Dentist, Tooth Hub Dental Care, etc. were among the principal recruiters.
For Paramedical and Nursing: More than 25 large hospitals employed applicants with backgrounds in physiotherapy, nursing.

Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) normally accepts TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) marks for B.Tech admissions. Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) offers a variety of scholarships depending on extracurricular and academic accomplishments rather than a universal 100% scholarship. Students who have qualified for JEE-Main or have achieved 80% or higher in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible for a 50% fee scholarship offered by the institution. Based on their degree of accomplishment, SIMATS offers scholarships ranging from 10% to 50% of tuition fees in recognition of students' excellence in sports. Athletes competing at the national level are eligible for a 50% scholarship, those competing at the state, district, and zonal levels for 25%, and 10% of the scholarships, respectively.
