SHUATS (Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences) does not participate in JEE Main Counselling 2023 conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Therefore, there is no JEE 2023 Counselling schedule at SHUATS. However, SHUATS conducts its own counseling process for admission to its engineering courses. Candidates who have qualified for JEE Main 2023 and meet the eligibility criteria for SHUATS can apply for admission to the university through its counseling process. Candidates are advised to check the official website of the university for updates on the counseling process.
The 2023 or 2024 placement data is unavailable for Engineering courses. Earlier, out of 363 BTech students 85 were placed successfully during 2022 placements. Further, the median package stood at INR 3.75 LPA. Over the past three years (2020 to 2022), the number of BTech students placed has been fluctuating. SHUATS offers MBA in 3 different fields with total 190 seats in total and the fees for whole programme lies around 2.5 Lacs rupees. Providing 60%+ placements with an average package of 3.5 LPA. Which is pretty good in it's own.
On the other hand GBPSSI offers MBA in rural development with total of 46 seats available, and the fees for the whole programme is roughly 86 thousand rupees.and the placement records are marvellous with 95%+ and generally 100% placement records with an average package of 5 LPA.
The college's infrastructure is good, and they provide every facility. The college provides hostels for boys and girls separately. Admission to the hostel was based on a first-come, first-served basis, and preferences are given to the non-local students. The infrastructure of the hostel was good and well-facilitated with Wi-Fi, gym, etc.
So the college life can be rated a good 4 (out of 5)
