Review of Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.

Placements: JLL, Titan, Simplex, Amazon and other good and renowned companies come for the placement drives. Companies like Simplex take you as a trainee engineer if they find that you potential and train you in the respected civil engineering field and make you industry-ready.

Infrastructure: Facilities like free Wi-Fi, one of the best labs, air-conditioned classrooms with audio-visual facilities, gym, indoor games, swimming pool and steam bath facilities are available. A canteen is available. The campus environment is peaceful to study.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good and well qualified. They are very helpful and answer all your queries. They provide you with good notes, quiz sessions and assignments that keep you busy and bring the best of you. The curriculum is good and makes you field-ready.

Other: As SMIT is one of the nearby and best institutes on northeast, I chose this institute.

Great Learning, Great Placements, Great Extracurricular activities.

Placements: Around 98% students were placed in our batch with the highest package around 18LPA and median package being around 6.5LPA. Top Recruiting companies includes Daikin, Bosch, etc. 100% students in our batch those who applied for internship got internship and top roles that were offered were of Structural engineer, civil engineer etc.

Infrastructure: Great hostel facilities, good food, and great sports complex. Wi-Fi can be accessed from anywhere in the college and library is one of the best in the region. Atal Incubation center is recent to boost the spirit of young entrepreneurs. Canteen and cafes are present inside the campus.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and highly qualified. They are friendly yet disciplined. Both theoretical and practical aspect of every topic is covered in the class. There are assignments group projects and different industrial trainings which takes place. Course is highly relevant and makes student industry ready.

Other: There are lots of fests and tournaments which takes place round the year. And various tournaments too. Good students are offered scholarships. Campus surrounding is the best one could dream of. Scholarships are also provided to Sikkim students.

Overall, it is the best college in Sikkim.

Placements: Almost 90% of students get placed every year. The placement procedure and process are very easy and student-friendly. I have no idea about the salaries yet, but I'm aware of the fact that good packages are offered to each student.

Infrastructure: SMIT provides 24x7 Wi-Fi connectivity in and around the campus and as well as in the hostel. The central library of SMIT provides books, journals as well as books on current affairs and various topics. Our mess provides one of the best varieties of food, and it's very hygienic.

Faculty: All our teachers are well qualified in their fields and are very helpful and encouraging. The course curriculum is relevant and makes us industry-ready. Semester exams in SMIT are quite difficult, and our pass percentage is 35%.
