SNDT Women’s University is UGC-approved and has a Grade ‘A’ reaccreditation by the NAAC. The University’s headquarters are in Churchgate, South Mumbai, and the other three campuses are in

Approximately, a total of 307 colleges are affiliated with the SNDT Women’s University, and a few of them are in the states of UP, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Bihar, and MP. The university has signed an International Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CUNY Crest Institute- New York, Bronx Community College of the City University- New York, and Borough of Manhattan Community College University- New York, in the year 2022, to develop academic cooperation. To be eligible for B.Tech at SNDT College, Mumbai, candidates need to appear for MHT-CET/JEE Mains. However, JEE Mains will be preferred over MHT-CET. Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology & obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for Backward class, EWS & PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply. SNDT Mumbai - Juhu Campus Student Life and Culture
The SNDT Women’s University was the first to enrol for NCC in the year 1958. SNDT Arts and Commerce College, Churchgate was honoured to raise the 1st unit in the university. NCC’s adventurous activities include Hiking, a Cycle Rally, a Blood Donation Camp, and a Tree Plantation. SNDT Women’s University has a Department of Students Welfare, Yuva Mahotsav since 1975, with the prime motive to create awareness and pride amongst the youth about the rich cultural heritage of SNDT and to promote National Integration. Every year, this cultural festival highlights the traditional folk art of India which reflects the rich and diverse Indian culture. The events that take place under this festival are:

Apart from these, other facilities/activities include,
- Free Legal Aid Centre at SNDTWU by Law School by eminent lawyers who are assisted by students.
- Guest Lectures by eminent personalities on various topics such as Drafting, Career counselling, Time management, Consumerism, Jammu & Kashmir issues, personality development, etc.
- University sports tournaments in the games of basketball, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Judo, Cricket, and all other games.
- Technical clubs: These clubs focus on promoting and developing technical skills. Some of the technical clubs available at SNDT University include the Coding Club, the Robotics Club, the Entrepreneurship Club, and the Women in Tech Club.
- Literary clubs: These clubs focus on promoting reading and writing. Some of the literary clubs available at SNDT Mumbai include the Book Club, the Poetry Club, and the Creative Writing Club.
- Hostel facility: It’s a huge building with 4 floors, comprising over 150 rooms which accommodate more than 500 students. A mess facility is provided within the building itself.
