Review of SOA University - Siksha 'O' Anusandhan.
Placements: The college campus was good. A maximum of eligible students got placed in our college placement. The highest package in our batch was 16.4 LPA, and the average package was 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Media-mint, Zomato, etc., come to our college to hire students.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is so big because it provides B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, and M.Sc. courses on one campus. All departments have separate blocks, and inside the campus, a food court, indoor games, and a gym are available for all students. The college campus is fully Wi-Fi-enabled, and all labs are available for practicals. Hostels are also inside the college. They provide good quality food and full Wi-Fi access inside the hostel.
Faculty: Our college faculty members were good and well-qualified. Their teaching quality was good, and they are fully cooperative with all students. They also provide placement training for all students and prepare them to be industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. Most regular students pass all semester exams.

Good college with a nice environment, study, and activities.
Placements: 80% of students got placed. The average package is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The highest is 11 LPA to 13 LPA, but in the end, it depends on your study. Students got internships in companies like Microsoft, Salesforce, TCS, etc. Roles are offered like developer and sometimes a fresher gets consultancy and tester roles.
Infrastructure: Overall everything is good. Library facilities are there, the quality of the food is okay, classrooms are near, library is available to study, medical facilities, and sports facilities are available too. Mess and canteen are there. Canteen is there, which is also good enough with various things.
Faculty: Professors are helpful and knowledgeable, course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not so difficult if you focus on the class you get to know, and semester exams are not too tough to pass, maintain your assignment, and attendance. Passing percentage is 6 CGPA, teachers and teaching quality are well.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in it and the best thing is you get to learn and explore various things.

It is a good college, but the placements are not good.
Placements: Placements are very average. Only recommended jobs are getting by students, and the students are placed through referral. The highest package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 1.8 LPA. There are no internships provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The labs are spacious and have all types of equipment. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. The library is good, and there are many hostels for boys and girls. Classrooms are spacious and have AC. The food is average in the hostel. There are cricket grounds, volleyball courts, badminton courts, etc., present on campus.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, and they are all highly educated and experienced. They all have done their Master's and Ph.D. The course curriculum is good, and it makes us ready for the industry. There are two semesters in a year, and each semester has two sessional exams, which are conducted by the college.

It is a very good college, the best college in Odisha.
Placements: Placements are average. This year, 20-25 students out of 60 get jobs. Most students are going for higher studies. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc., visit our college. The highest package offered is 3.2 LPA and the lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus with CCTV security. There are 20+ hostels for boys and girls. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. Labs are spacious and have all chemicals and apparatus used in the industry. There are cricket grounds, volleyball courts, basketball courts, badminton courts, etc., present. For indoor games, there is a mini stadium.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, they are highly qualified and experienced. They are highly qualified, and all of them have done their postgraduates and Masters. Faculty members use simple language, which is easy to understand. There are two semesters in a year conducted by the university, and each semester has two sessionals conducted by the university.

My college experience at SOA University.
Placements: Placements in our college were average. Many students got placed from college placement. In our college, the average salary package offered was 4 LPA to 5 LPA in a year. Top companies like Wipro, HCL, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, TCS, etc., visit our college to hire freshers. I completed my BCA from our college. College organized pre-placement training classes for students.
Infrastructure: Many kinds of facilities were available in our college. In hostel, the quality of food was good and they provided North Indian food only. In a day, they provided four foods in hostel. Campus was fully Wi-Fi enabled. Many kinds of indoor and outdoor game facilities were available on campus. They provided lab facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching was good for all practical subjects. Teachers were cooperative and supported all students in placement.
Other: Our college was good for education and placement. They organized many extracurricular activities like college fest and sports activities.

All about BCA at ITER, SOA University 2025.
Placements: In my batch (BCA 2022-25), the batch size of the students is around 187, divided into 3 sections. Among them, around 10% of the students got placed. The highest package was offered by Mathree (9 LPA), but no one got into it. The lowest is from TCS (SMART and Ignite), which is around 1.8 LPA, and the average is 3.3 LPA. Top recruitment was done by Accenture, with a package of 3.4 LPA, and around 8 people were selected. Other companies that arrived were Cognizant, Ola, Artech, ADP, Wipro, Capgemini, etc. You have to grab the chance.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are outstanding, with smart boards, AC, comfortable seating arrangements, and are well-lit. There is no Wi-Fi facility inside the classrooms for students; there is only an ethernet facility for the lecturers to connect their laptops. The hostel is decent, with AC and non-AC rooms available. The fees are around (1 lakh for non-AC and 1.2 lakh for AC with food). Wi-Fi is also available in each room. A health center is there inside the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified, but they are really old-fashioned, which means the curriculum is old and they haven't changed it to meet industry standards. You have to learn more relevant skills to stand out. The semester exams are quite easy, and you can easily score. The exam pattern is only 2-mark questions.
Other: No fest, guys, but you are going to get great friends. I joined this college because in my time the fees were 330000, but they have increased the fees significantly. I don't think it's a good option for that much money.
