The QS Rankings 2026 are out now. Siksha `O` Anusandhan has been ranked 1201-1400 under the 'World University' category.
Siksha `O` Anusandhan admissions 2025 are open for UG and PG courses. Interested candidates can apply for their desired course through the official website. A few more updates are as follows:
- The CAT 2025 admit cards for admission to MBA/PGDM courses are now available for download. The CAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on Nov 30, 2025.
- The MAT Dec 2025 registrations are now open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Dec 7, 2025, and the exam is scheduled for Dec 13, 2025. Moreover, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Dec 15, 2025, and the exam date is Dec 21, 2025.
- The CUET PG 2026 registration process for admission to PG courses is expected to begin in Jan 2026.
- The GPAT 2026 application form for admission to the MPharma course is expected to be released during the first week of April 2026.
- The OJEE 2026 registration process for admission to BTech, BPharma, MBA, and MCA courses will tentatively start around the last week of Jan 2026.
- The LSAT India 2025 exam has been discontinued and will not be conducted from 2025 onwards for admission to 3-year LLB, 5-year Integrated LLB, and LLM courses.
- The CLAT 2026 applications are now closed for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM courses. Further, the CLAT 2026 exam date is Dec 7, 2025.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

Actual Intention of the SOA University.
Placements: Placements occur in our college. Almost 70% of students get their desired job with a satisfactory salary. The highest package is around 20 LPA, the average is around 6 to 7 LPA, and the lowest is around 5 LPA. An internship system is also available in our university.
Infrastructure: The course is mostly related to the real world and application-based. Facilities provided are neither top-notch nor poor. The buildings are not old and are strong, so they do not break down easily. Labs have sufficient computers, and free Wi-Fi is available for all students. The hostel is good and has enough space to live in. The mess and canteen food is acceptable. The university also provides medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are highly skilled and talented but also very down to earth. The teaching methods are not complicated, and anyone can learn from them. The course curriculum is engaging and keeps you busy most of the time. The semester exams are not very difficult but are quite tricky. They help develop your brain for upcoming challenges.
Other: I chose this because I am not an extraordinary person not a very weak student. I was clear that I cannot pursue higher studies in any big course. I was sure that agriculture is my sure shot. The best thing about the agriculture branch is that it takes you to the land. This helps you understand how to manage land and irrigation.

The reality of the inside life of SOA University.
Placements: We have a placement system here, but I do not know how the placement system works here. Most students like to place from the outside campus because of the expectation for a higher salary. There is no data about the highest or lowest package offered in my course. All I know is that students are satisfied with what they get.
Infrastructure: The academic buildings and the hostel buildings are huge and wide. All the students studying over there can fit in and sit comfortably wherever they want. I do not know anything much about the hostel because I am a day scholar, but my hostel friends say that the hostel is big, and the food quality is acceptable. There are many indoor games to play.
Faculty: The curriculum that we study here is very relevant to the practical world. As for my branch, it is quite practical to know from the texts that we read here. The curriculum over here makes the students ready to implement in the practical and real world, also. The semester exams are not too difficult, but it is tricky and test your ultimate mind, and they help you to be smarter.
Other: Do not keep the hopes very high. The campus life here depends on the perspective of the student. Just be in reality, and it will be better for you. The college does have a huge library here, and many useful books and journals are available, that is very much required for all graduates. Many sports events occur here. Cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, and kho-kho are the most popular sports that are held during each sports event. Each branch conducts a fresher party for its newly arriving juniors.

Placements: Decent placements. Packages amount ranges between 4 LPA-45 LPA, with an average of around 7 LPA. Top recruiters include names like Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc. Top roles offered are software engineer, data scientist, DevOps engineer, AI/ML engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is quite well-equipped with various facilities for both academics and beyond, such as sports and research purposes. The campus size is quite vast, and the academic buildings are very well-equipped with air conditioning and other required facilities for learning. The quality of the mess food is decent. Medical facilities are top-tier since there is a collaboration with SUM hospital.
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified, eager to help, and the quality of teaching is very good. The course curriculum is relevant with cutting-edge courses available for AI and Data Science. The course makes the students industry-ready and beyond. The semesters are moderately difficult with a decent pass percentage.

My experience so far has been good for learning and growth.
Placements: From what I've seen with my seniors, the placement record is strong, and the university brings in a lot of well-known companies for recruitment every year. Placement cell is also quite active. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, etc., come here for the B.Tech course. To my knowledge, the highest package offered in B.Tech is 30-40 LPA, and the average is 8 -10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good, the classrooms are well-maintained with ACs and digital boards, and the labs have all the equipment you need for assignments. The Wi-Fi is decent enough to get work done. Hostels are fine, pretty much what you'd expect. The mess food can be a bit boring, to be fair, but the canteens have great options, so it's not a big deal. There are also libraries and many sports grounds for various games.
Faculty: Teachers I've had are mostly great, they actually know their stuff and are pretty helpful about helping you out if you're stuck on something. The syllabus feels up-to-date and prepares you for what companies are looking for. The Exams are challenging but fair, you can't pass by memorising everything. Basically, if you show up to class and study a bit, you'll do fine.
Other: I have taken B.Tech in the year 2024, so far it is good, there is so much more to explore. Campus is good with good students and facilities. They are helpful.

Good college in Odisha, ITER.
Placements: If someone is pursuing BCA, they become eligible for campus placements in their final year. For B.Tech students, eligibility starts from the 3rd year. The highest package is 4.5 LPA. Each year, over 2000 companies visit and offer comfortable packages to deserving candidates. Around 80-90% of students secure placements with decent salary packages. I plan to pursue MCA after completing my BCA.
Infrastructure: The hostels are really nice. The food is nice. Whenever I had any problems, I just filled out a form, and within 24 hours, the issue was fixed. Although the hostels are quite expensive compared to other colleges, they provide flexibility and comfort. The central library offers all kinds of books. Book lovers would really feel like they are in heaven there. Each classroom has projectors for digital education. Students involved in clubs and social groups may find it difficult to manage everything, but it is manageable if one tries.
Faculty: The quality of teachers and their knowledge is very important in the IT sector. To be honest, our college provides the best in class. The faculty-to-student ratio is quite impressive, as SOA has more than 500 faculty members. There are only two exams. They are mid-semester exams and end-of-semester exams. The mid-semester exams are usually tougher than the end-of-semester exams. Around 20% of students fail to clear each exam. The course curriculum is a little old, but it is being updated as of 2024.

Placements: Our B.Tech CSE batch of 2025 achieved nearly 80% placements. The highest package offered is 30 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average range is 6.5 LPA - 8 LPA. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, and Goldman Sachs. Around 70% of students secured internships with leading companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, and Deloitte. Top roles offered are software development engineer, data analyst, cloud engineer, full-stack developer, and system engineer, with strong industry demand and excellent career opportunities for the batch.
Infrastructure: Our course offers well-equipped classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, modern labs, and access to a comprehensive library.
