The institute has not released the placement details for MArch courses. However, the combined data for PG (2-year) courses is released. During 2023 placements, 85% of PG (2-year) students were placed. In 2022, the placement rate was almost 77%. School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) Delhi offers a full-time Master of Architecture (M.Arch) course of a two-year duration. Admission to the PG course is based on valid GATE or CEED scores. SPA Delhi offers MArch in three specialisations, including Architectural Conservation, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Design. The final selection for admission to this course is based on performance in the qualifying exam, portfolio of work, personal interaction with faculty and/or written test, interest and motivation for the chosen study and work experience. Admission to the SPA Delhi M.Arch course is based on the fulfilment of the eligibility and selection criteria. Candidates who are selected and make it to the rank list, prepared on the basis of the GATE/CEED score, can confirm their admission by visiting the admission office in person.

The selection for the SPA Delhi M.Arch course is based on GATE score. Hence, a candidate with an exam score is preferred. However, it is not compulsory. Candidates with CEED scores are also eligible to apply. Admission is only through either of these exams. Additionally, the student shall also meet the eligibility requirements. At the time of admission, students shall have the respective exam scorecard with them.

SPA Delhi was ranked in the fifth position by NIRF in the Architecture category. Hence, it tops many of the NITs except for NIT Calicut. Thus, the School of Architecture and Planning is preferred by many students. The placements at the school are also decent, in 2021, BArch students received a median package of INR 5 LPA. School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and doctoral programs in Architecture, Planning and Design. Admission to the courses is merit and entrance based. However, the final selection is done based on scores in JEE Main/ DASA UG. Candidates who have been granted admission at SPA Delhi have to report to the college and register by filling out and submitting an application form at the college office.
