M.Arch in Architectural Conservation 

at SPA Delhi, IP Estate

The selection for the SPA Delhi M.Arch course is based on GATE score. Hence, a candidate with an exam score is preferred. However, it is not compulsory. Candidates with CEED scores are also eligible to apply. Admission is only through either of these exams. Additionally, the student shall also meet the eligibility requirements. At the time of admission, students shall have the respective exam scorecard with them.

The institute has not released the placement details for MArch courses. However, the combined data for PG (2-year) courses is released. During 2023 placements, 85% of PG (2-year) students were placed. In 2022, the placement rate was almost 77%. Over the past three years (2021 to 2023), the placement rate for PG (2-year) courses has improved gradually. Refer to the below table showcasing the SPA Delhi placement rate trends:

Admissions to M.Arch courses at SPA Delhi are made based on a valid GATE/CEED score. Moreover in order to be eligible a student must have BArch or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, Fine Arts from a recognised university or equivalent. Admission to the SPA Delhi M.Arch course is based on the fulfilment of the eligibility and selection criteria. Candidates who are selected and make it to the rank list, prepared on the basis of the GATE/CEED score, can confirm their admission by visiting the admission office in person.

Admission to most of the programmes of SPA Delhi is entrance-based. The institute considers scores in GATE/ CEED for M.Arch and MPlan, JEE Main (Paper-II)/ DASA UG for BArch, CEED for MDes and JEE Main (Paper-II) for BPlan programmes. Hence, entrance exam scores are required for admission in UG or PG courses at the institute. Selected candidates are requirement to participate in the counselling rounds and pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.
