Admissions to M.Arch courses at SPA Delhi are made based on a valid GATE/CEED score. No, GATE is not compulsory as a valid rank in CEED is also acceptable. GATE is just one of the criteria for selection. Hence, candidates without a GATE score can also apply. Apart from this, it is necessary for each aspirant to meet the eligibility requirements or else they shall not be able to pass the document verification round even if selected based on the entrance test score.

The school shortlist students for the M.Arch course based on a few parameters. Candidates' score in GATE/CEED, portfolio of work, personal interaction with faculty and/or written test, interest and motivation for the chosen study and work experience are the parameters for selection. At the time of admission, students have to submit the scorecard of the entrance test, pass certificates for academic records, etc. or the school holds the right to cancel the admission.

Admission to most of the programmes of SPA Delhi is entrance-based.
