SSSUTMS receives mixed reviews for its B.Tech program. Faculty quality is praised by some, citing knowledgeable teachers, while others criticize them as money-minded. Infrastructure is generally considered good, featuring a central library, classrooms, laboratories, and sports center. However, some students note the absence of a Wi-Fi zone and inadequate library facilities. Placements are a contentious issue, with some reporting successful recruitment by top companies, while others claim limited or no opportunities.

The B.Ed subjects and graduation subject are separate. Every B.Ed college follows the NCTEs approved syllabus. All universities offer theory papers that cover topics such as educational philosophy, educational psychology, school administration, learning theories, educational thinkers etc., even though the titles and authors of the books may vary. Additionally, methodological papers are required for all B.Ed. courses, and they require you to select one school topic and one language.
According to the regulations, a student must have completed at least two school topics in order to be admitted to a B.Ed program. However a lot of universities ignore these requirements and admit students.
The issue appears when you apply for a government job after finishing the training. (KVS, NVS, and so forth).
