Really disappointed in 2015 because we are the first batch. So we didn't had senior or junior.

Placements: Actually we are the first batch of visual communication in ramapuram campus. So we didn't get that much of placement from our college side. But after my batch they are introducing some of recruiting companies to the students. I think there after they improving placement facilities.

Infrastructure: I'm very happy to share about infrastructure of my department. It's really marvelous to SEE and study one of the place to come. It contain beautifully floor, lab, drawing room with wonderful interior design, air conditioner and theatre and then I don't know about of hostel facilities.

Faculty: We had Very kind heart and helpful facilities. Our facilities are experienced and talented. So it's very helpful to study and pass in first class. One of the gods best gift is our HOD so cool man with friendly character and he is so inspired us with his friendly advice.

Other: Everyone know about our college cultural, because we do all always best events like RAMPUS, HASTAG.

Great infrastructure and lovely atmosphere to learn lead and leap!

Placements: Na campus interview for visual communication because they don't have well-equipped laboratory to teach students, so mostly this department have no campus, still you can utilize the management for your future projects! Maximum you need to be more creative to access the help from management.

Infrastructure: SRM is one of the best college in Chennai and in case of infrastructure too. Where you can find top high class building standards where they have free Wi-Fi, AC classes, hostels, different kind of canteens.

Faculty: Teachers are So good in teaching and they are up to the level that they can teach you. almost all teachers are well qualified, they use mostly PDF and all sort of new technologies are being given to students, they are nice and kind hearted teachers.

Other: They have many events and cultural events sports day and many event to enjoy and learn.

Placements: The placement assurance is 100%. Many cine artists conduct workshops for all film tech students and Visual communication students. They have contact with some media houses like Vendar, Pudiya Thalaimurai, etc. PG from here is also nice. Mostly, mass recruiting companies like, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. come for placement. The average salary package is INR 3.4 lakhs pa and the highest is INR 18 lakhs pa from companies like Amazon, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and well-maintained. The management staff members are very kind. SRM University, Ramapuram campus consists of all the amenities that SRM main campus has but there's one drawback- that is the lack of a playground.

Faculty: The faculty members of SRM University, Ramapuram campus are qualified to provide the students with all the knowledge related to the subjects. The faculty here is knowledgeable. I worked with many startups as I met a lot of people who were into programming like FN Plus. Fests, events, club activities, etc. are arranged every week. Many tech events, student association, contests, hackathons, etc. are arranged.

Other: There are 2 boys' hostels and 1 girls' hostel. The hostel fee is INR 1.10 lakhs pa. The mess charges are INR 50,000 pa. The quality of food is not good. The labs are fully equipped and the classrooms are good. The class timings are from 8 am to 12 pm. The quality of teaching is good. My overall experience was average.

Creative course with industry exposure, decent placements, and supportive faculty at SRM RMP.

Placements: I am part of the B.Sc. Visual Communication programme at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, belongs to the 2022 to 2025 batch. In the current placement season for 2025, approximately 70 to 75% of students from our course have been placed through both campus drives and personal portfolios. The highest package offered so far is 6 LPA, secured by a student who got into a creative agency as a Motion Graphic Designer. The lowest package offered was around 2.4 LPA, mainly for roles in local production studios or startup media firms. The average package stands at approximately 3.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our Visual Communication department has Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, a photography studio, editing and sound labs, green screens setup, and a well-stocked media library. Hostels are decent with clean rooms. Mess food is average. Canteens offer a better variety. Good sports and medical aid.

Faculty: The faculty is helpful, qualified, and experienced in the media fields. Teaching is practical and creative focused. The curriculum is relevant and builds strong industry skills. Semester exams are moderate, with regular study, they are manageable. Pass percentage is around 85 to 90%.
