Good placements, courses, and campus life.
Placements: The placements are really good depending on your achievements and grades. Most students with a 9 plus CGPA get good companies with a 30 LPA-50 LPA package. TCS and Amazon are a few recruiters. The highest package from my college is 1 crore per annum. The lowest packages are around 3 LPA-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: All buildings have Wi-Fi, and all labs are present on my campus with all the required equipment. All classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. The hostels are very close to the classroom avenues, which makes travel easy. There is a hospital, sports grounds, and a pool on campus.
Faculty: My curriculum is informative and up to date. The teachers are well-knowledgeable and are very open and helpful with the students. The study material is given by the faculty, and books from the library can be referred to as well. There are huge internal marks, which makes scoring easy. Semester exams are also quite easy. The course I'm studying is up to date.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in computers and software.

My honest review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur.
Placements: Placement opportunities were offered on campus. Internships and placements were good. The college had a well-established placement process. It provided the necessary support to students through a separate placement cell. Companies like BCG, Deloitte, EY, PwC, Axis Bank, Fidelity, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank were among the top recruiters. The highest package offered to our batch was 41.6 LPA. The average package during the campus drive was 5 LPA. Roles offered included consulting, sales and marketing, finance, general management, HR, and operations management.
Infrastructure: The college updated the syllabus regularly, including the subjects. It provided good industrial exposure and made internship programs compulsory. The course structure was interesting and interactive. Hostel facility was very good. Rooms were well maintained, neat, and clean. The mess food was good, hygienic, and served a variety of meals daily. The staff prepared the food under clean conditions and maintained proper hygiene.
Faculty: Faculty members were knowledgeable. They explained concepts clearly and helped students with academic doubts whenever required. The faculty-to-student ratio was good, allowing teachers to give proper attention to students. They guided us according to their experience, which helped us academically. The college followed a semester system, with one cycle test, one model exam, and one semester exam in each semester. Students had to clear all the examinations. The difficulty level of the exams ranged from moderate to hard. Marks were also awarded for assignments and attendance.

Review of SRM University, KTR and campus life.
Placements: Most students get placed in sales and call center jobs. The package is not very high and only covers basic needs. Sometimes even that is not enough. Only one company offers a package of 10 LPA, but it is highly competitive and selects only one student. Companies like Coffee Day, Aditya Birla, American Bank, and TCS visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is really good, but the Wi-Fi often does not work properly. It depends on which building you are in. The UB building is the best, as it has everything from a library to a supermarket. I personally do not recommend the hostel because the food is not good. I often fall sick. The hostel fee is also expensive. The wardens are not very supportive.
Faculty: The quality of teaching is really good. Professors help students with everything. They also guide us with internships and other extracurricular activities. University exams are not very difficult because they regularly test our knowledge.

Staff members are well-qualified and experienced, with strong academic backgrounds.
Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed. The highest package is 52 LPA at Google. Two third-year girls got internships. Regarding placements, it is a very nice college. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment and placements, including Deloitte, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There is a lot of greenery, which makes the college feel peaceful. There is no disturbance, and no bike sounds come into the campus. The buildings are also very nice, especially the CSE block. I do not know much about the hostel because I am a day scholar.
Faculty: Faculty is good. Everyone has good teaching experience and is very patient. If we go to them with doubts without fear, they definitely answer patiently until we understand the topic. Faculty has a lot of knowledge. Semesters are of moderate difficulty in our college.

Worth a shot if you are good at grasping opportunities.
Placements: The placements are decent if you know how to grab opportunities. The college provides plenty of chances and exposure. You just need to ensure that you are capable enough to hold onto them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice. You can explore the whole campus, and it is very beautiful at times. As for the hostels, the food might disappoint you a little bit, but the best memories are made there. They have decent rooms. ACs and Wi-Fi are available across classrooms and the library. The medical facilities are great. Sports and games can be done through different clubs.
Faculty: Faculty members can be a little tricky to handle. But as for the courses and exams, it is easy to score and maintain a good GPA with minimal effort. Curriculum is relevant and easy to understand. To become industry-ready, though, you need to go out and gain experience through internships or projects. Faculty members are good and can be contacted for projects or research opportunities.
Other: There are no such great fests. Milan is a good one, though. If the artists called are worth it, then it is a must-visit. Scholarships can be secured if you have a good GPA. The campus surroundings are good for spending your time in the evening. You can also join extracurricular activities of your choice through various clubs.

We have good faculty, hostel, and hospital facilities, & a safe campus life with all new equipment.
Placements: They provide fewer placements in the Visual Communication course. Only one or two companies are visiting. However, other courses have better placement opportunities. In my course, there are no direct placements, so students have to try on their own. Our staff members are connected on WhatsApp and inform us about companies and job updates whenever someone asks.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and hostels are good, and the Wi-Fi is also good. Labs are good, and we have a big library where we can go and get books anytime. The courses are tough, but the staff help a lot and give useful advice. They keep our minds clear and calm.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly. They teach every day and clear doubts whenever we ask. There are many functions, and the staff is actively involved with students. They dance and sing with us. They are not just faculty members but more like family.
Other: We also have cultural events in the college.

SRM vs LPU vs Manipal for B.Tech Biotechnology — which is better for placements?

For Biotechnology, I wouldn't compare colleges only by the highest package. Core biotech opportunities, research exposure, internships and recruiter mix matter more.

Manipal has a strong research-oriented biotech setup,
