Extremely good infrastructure and opportunities at SRM KTR.
Placements: 80 percent of the students got placed. The highest package is 25 LPA. The lowest is 5 LPA. The average is 6 LPA-7 LPA. Top recruiters are Honda, Hero MotoCorp, Daimler, Mercedes-Benz, Caterpillar, Mahindra, etc. 75 percent of the students got internship offers. Top companies for internships were Honda, Mahindra, Daimler, etc. Top roles offered are Mechanical Engineer, Design Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. The college has all the necessary labs and has a huge library filled with physical and digital books. The classrooms are equipped with ACs and Fans. All of them have a projector. The quality of the food in the mess is decent. The canteen has amazing food at great prices. There is a hospital on campus. State-of-the-art sports facilities are available on campus which include basketball courts, football courts, tennis courts, badminton courts, an Olympic-size swimming pool, a cricket ground, and much more.
Faculty: The teachers are all helpful and possess PhDs from reputed universities. They teach quite practically. The course is regularly updated due to which it stays relevant. It makes the students industry-ready by giving them hands-on experience on projects and the updating curriculum adapts to the industry requirements which are then taught to the students. The semester exams are quite average in difficulty. The passing rate is about 80 percent.
Other: I chose this course due to the various clubs and projects available on campus which allow me to have a deeper understanding of my subject. I wish to improve the gender ratio in our course. There are plenty of events hosted every other day on campus. We have nationwide cultural and tech fests. All the festivals are celebrated here on campus as the crowd is extremely diverse. There are many scholarships provided based on need by the college. There is a plethora of extracurricular activities on campus like sports, dance, art, music, etc.

Good infrastructure, facilities, average placement support, experienced faculty, and a great campus.
Placements: Out of 120 MCA Gen AI students, fewer than 20 students were placed. In general MCA, about 40 students got placed. The highest package was about 15 LPA, offered by Micron. The top recruiting companies were TCS, LTIMindtree, and Micron for the 2026 year. The placement rate for MCA was less than 14%.
Infrastructure: Hostels are quite expensive. The food is decent for the PF Hostel. But the price-to-value ratio is very low. They charge Rs. 2 lakhs for a small AC room. The Science and Humanities Department is average, not good. Labs, on the other hand, are very good and well maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified. The curriculum is up to date. The pass percentage for master's students is 50%. There are also a lot of exams. The courses are good, but self-study is required to get industry-ready and placement-ready. You have to go the extra mile for preparation. Semester exams are easy to pass but are very lengthy, and examinations are held frequently.
Other: Gen AI is a market trend, so I chose this course. The course curriculum skips some important Computer Science fundamentals in the Generative AI specialization.

My honest opinion about my college.
Placements: Placements have well-defined procedures. There is a big placement team that helps us prepare better for placements and grab a good job. A student who has studied decently throughout is guaranteed to get placed in a reputed company which provides the best profile to the selected candidates in the company. Lots of companies visit the campus every year. The average package is 7 LPA. McKinsey, BCG, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, ITC, Asian Paints, BNP Paribas, Lehman, and Google are top recruiters.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good with standard facilities. Drinking sources are available. The hostel is protected with standard CCTV cameras. Every student has their own bed, tables, and wardrobes. Three students are allotted to every room. 24/7 hot water and drinking water are available. Separate canteens are available on campus with good meal quality. Any student can apply for the hostel.
Faculty: The course structure is quite amazing which covers almost all the aspects required for the business. It's all about getting thorough knowledge and learning about the business and also helps students to be an Entrepreneur. The course can be completed in two years with the good teaching staff in the college. The faculty is amazing. Most faculty have more than 10 to 20 years of experience with PhD and masters degree. The college has all subject experts as per courses. All experts teach as per their expertise. Lecturers and lab assistants have proper knowledge. The course began with the basics of business management and business functions which involved all the basic aspects of management. A lot of market research and case studies are provided during the course to make all the candidates realize the current market scenarios.

One of the best colleges in India.
Placements: I did a B.Sc. Nursing from SRM, where I got the best college life experience with quality education and a good environment. Even in the nursing college, 5 companies came for placements, and luckily, I was selected by all 5 companies. There were 2 medical coding jobs and 3 of the best hospitals in Chennai.
Infrastructure: SRM was a beautiful place to study. It was peaceful and full of greenery, along with big, beautiful buildings and classrooms. Although the climate was a little hot, I missed my college days so much. SRM had free Wi-Fi for all students. If you were inside the campus, you could use Wi-Fi with your Net ID.
Faculty: My college was INC-approved, so it strictly followed the INC curriculum. Exams were conducted on university campus itself. Attendance was a problem there, but still, students could manage with medical certificates and genuine reasons. Exams were conducted strictly. For nursing students, training was provided at SRM Hospital from the 1st year itself, giving the best exposure in all the departments.
Other: I chose SRM for nursing due to its own 1,600-bedded SRM Hospital, its popularity, and quality education.

Good infrastructure, diverse campus life, and strong opportunities for CSE students.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE at SRM IST in the 2027 batch. SRM has a large placement ecosystem with companies from software, consulting, fintech, and other sectors too. The opportunities are good for students who build strong programming, development, and communication skills. Placement outcomes vary considerably among students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at SRM KTR is one of its strongest aspects. The campus has well-equipped computer labs and classrooms, a large central library, digital learning facilities, and various department-specific facilities. The campus is very large and has very good sports facilities cafeteria and hospital and many more things are there in the campus.
Faculty: The faculty is a mix of professional as well as younger faculty. The overall teaching quality depends on the individual professor. Most faculty members are approachable and helpful when students take initiative. The CSE curriculum covers all the important fundamentals of CS, DSA, OOP, and DBMS.

Good placements, courses, and campus life.
Placements: The placements are really good depending on your achievements and grades. Most students with a 9 plus CGPA get good companies with a 30 LPA-50 LPA package. TCS and Amazon are a few recruiters. The highest package from my college is 1 crore per annum. The lowest packages are around 3 LPA-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: All buildings have Wi-Fi, and all labs are present on my campus with all the required equipment. All classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. The hostels are very close to the classroom avenues, which makes travel easy. There is a hospital, sports grounds, and a pool on campus.
Faculty: My curriculum is informative and up to date. The teachers are well-knowledgeable and are very open and helpful with the students. The study material is given by the faculty, and books from the library can be referred to as well. There are huge internal marks, which makes scoring easy. Semester exams are also quite easy. The course I'm studying is up to date.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in computers and software.
