SIT Pune offers B.Tech. programs in seven different disciplines. The B.Tech programme requires at least 45% marks in 10+2 (PCM/PCB). For admission to the B.Tech. program, applicants must have taken the National/State Level Entrance Test, namely JEE Main, or have obtained at least the minimum cut-off scores in the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET).  Lateral entry into the B.Tech. programme is open for candidates with a Diploma in engineering.

However, admission to SIU Pune's MBA programme is based on the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) score followed by group practice, written test and personal interview [3]. Candidates applying for BBA at SIU Pune have to pay the programme and exam registration fee. The SET entrance test registration fee is INR 2,250 per test. Additionally, the programme registration fee amount is INR 1,000 for each course. Also, the course registration fee amount is non-refundable and non-transferable. To get admission at Symbiosis International Pune for MBA ccourse,  you must first register for the SNAP exam. Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP Test is a common admission test conducted by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission to the MBA/PGDM programmes offered by its 16 constituent institutes. You must secure a valid score in the SNAP exam and become eligible for the SIMS selection process. The selection process mainly includes Group Exercise & Personal Interview (GE-PI). The SIMS selection process selection process will be held online. The institution will finally release a merit list with names of candidates who have qualified for the selection process of SIMS Pune. Candidates will receive an offer letter from the Institution, They must pay the tuition fee and confirm their seats in the institution.

The highest package is released for various schools of SIU Pune. SIBM Pune the highest package recorded in 2025 was INR 53.58 LPA whereas it was INR 24 LPA for SIT Pune. For other schools such as SIDTM, SIIB and SCMHRD, the highest package stood at 29.04 LPA, 27.6 LPA and 35.9 LPA. 

The eligibility criteria for SIU Pune MBA admissions does not specify the requirement of prior work experience to gain admissions. However, every affiliated institute of SIU Pune has a different eligibility criteria for their offered MBA courses. Candidates with prior work experience might get preference over non work experience candidates. Symbiosis International Pune doesn't required CUET for admission. The deemd to be  uiversity conducts its own entrance exams  for admission to its UG and PG programme. Symbiosis International Pune offers entrance-based admission to all UG, PG and PhD courses i.e.  BTech, BBA, MBA, MTech, and others.  The college conduct various exam for admission ,such as SNAP/SET/SLAT/  SITEE. Applicants looking for admission to any of these courses must apply and appear for entrance exams to grab the seat.

Yes students can apply to Symbiosis International, Pune if Class 12 results are pending. University may offer them provisional admission in this case. Candidate must submit marksheet and certificate for Class 12 once results are declared. Only then admission will be confirmed. 

A candidate has to pay for the SET scores, which will be considered for shortlisting candidates for the further admission process (PI-WAT / ST-PI) by individual Institutes only for the programmes. If a candidate is desirous to submit his candidature to select UG programmes, then it is necessary to complete the payment process for the desired programme before the closing date of payment for the same. Payment towards the programmes should be made via the website only, which is set-test.org. After making the payment for the SITEEE, proceed to complete the online registration form for the programme (s) and the respective institute (s). Also, it is required of a candidate to make a separate, non-refundable, and non-transferable payment of INR 1000 per programme per institute at this stage. If a candidate wants to pay via DD for each programme, they have to pay in the name of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat". 
Even after closing the payment for SITEEE, a candidate may still pay through the website until the last date of payment for the programmes (s). An institute may offer more than one programme. Here, a candidate has to ensure that the preferred programme (s) is/are selected and paid before the last date.
