B.Ed admissions at TNOU start in January and generally go on till March. The total strength for seats for B.Ed admission is 1,000. These aspirants are admitted to Tamil medium (500 students) and English medium (500 students) based on rank list separately prepared for each medium. - Aspirants must pass bachelor's or master's degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate to apply for TNOU B.Ed and B.Ed Spl.Ed. programme.
- Candidates with bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with a minimum of 55% aggregate can also apply.
