It is a very nice university.

Placements: Placements are offered in schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya and other local schools. Internships are offered in nearby NGOs and high madrassa girls schools. Almost 80% of the students got placed at very nice schools. The salary offered was up to Rs. 35,000 per month as a fresher. Teaching is the main job offered.

Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, library are well-facilitated. Games and sports annual weeks are conducted on the campus. Labs and classrooms are good. Canteens are a bit congested. However, the quality of the food served is good. Some hostels are good and well-modified, but some are lacking behind. I didn't find any issues regarding the infrastructure during my tenure at the college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, helpful, knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. We can follow the teachers. They use both qualitative and quantitative methods for teaching. The faculty to student ratio was 1:11. The course curriculum is helpful as it is an integrated course, and it saves the time of the students.

I am very satisfied with Tezpur University.

Placements: There were around 60-65% placements last year. I am not aware of the salary offered but it was mostly around 4-5 Lacs per annum. Some of the students were given clerical jobs in recognised companies or institutes and there were also many who chose to freelance and from what I've heard, they're doing quite good.

Infrastructure: Decent infrastructure with quality classrooms and fully equipped multi-purpose halls. There is also free Wi-Fi for all students for better communication and efficient work. There is also lift facilities in the some of the departments, such as the Humanities building for ease of access for the specially able or students with temporary physical problems.

Faculty: The faculty members here are quite upto the mark. All of them are extremely qualified, some with multiple degrees. Their teaching skills are also exemplary. The course curriculum is above average, I would say. It has been truly made with the current requirements necessary for placements in mind.

Other: Some of the Northeastern region's the largest festivals are held here. Such as Techxetra, Insignis, NE Science and Technology fest, etc.

It is one of the best universities in the country.

Placements: It is one of the best Universities in the country. I was there for three years to pursue a B.A. in English Major. Faculty members are very supportive, and the campus culture is also very much recommendable. I joined English and Foreign Languages University after graduating from here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is one of the best in the country. The campus is well maintained with a lot of gardens. Buildings are great, and the hostels are also very good. The academic ambience is quite strong. The campus is spread over 600 acres of land with well facilitated residential as well as academic buildings. Many extracurricular activities like cricket, football, volleyball, archery, swimming classes, music and a lot more are available.

Faculty: Faculty members are pretty strong, and the course curriculum is also very strong. The education quality is one of the best in the country with a lot of add on courses, and you can opt for any course to make your degree stronger.

Other: The campus is situated on the outskirts of Tezpur town of Sonitpur district of Assam, and it is called Napalm, around 10 km away from town. Tezpur town is a historical place and quite a holiday destination for the people of the state of Assam. The university was established in 1994, which makes 24 years till now. The university has risen very much in this short period of its life. Students are expecting a lot from this university.
