Review of The LNM Institute of Information Technology.

Placements: The only requirement is that the department should arrange a conference at national levels. The department must dedicate some extra time only for the preparation of competitive exams.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, and the Wi-Fi facility is also good here. The library is well-maintained. Quality of food served in the mess is not satisfactory. The taste of the food served to the students is also not good. The medical facility is good, and the resident doctors are highly cooperative. There is a good sports facility. Our college provides lush green playground, gym facility, etc.

Faculty: The science field is not industry-oriented, and rather it is a research field. A research facility in the lab is good, especially for material science subject. Teachers are highly qualified. The physics department is always supportive. Faculty members teaching quality is above satisfactory.

Overall it is a good campus. Good infrastructure but slightly disappointed with the fees for UG.

Placements: About 22% of the students from our department got placed in IT companies, but from other computer courses, it is around 94.19%. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 36 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 10.11 LPA. Adobe, Amazon, Infosys, etc., offered placements for computer stream, but I am from the maths department, i.e., students go further for GATE NET exam and PhD in maths. In the maths department, we organise different maths workshops. Students also go for placements from maths departments. Almost 100% of the students got internships from companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Hostels are very good. They are responsive towards complaints of students. It is a ragging free campus. Wi-Fi facility is also available. The library is good. There is a central library with over 10000 books and research articles. There is a digital library. Computer labs are equipped with the latest computer facility. Hostel facility is good. The hostel mess is good, and the food served is good. The service is good. There are 24x7 medical services. There is better infrastructure for games.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable as every teacher is from IIT. They are PhD holders. Students should better have English communication skills. The course curriculum of M.Sc. in mathematics is designed for qualifying NET GATE exams and to pursue PhD.

Other: I have chosen this course because it provides better facilities for future or in higher studies. I wish to have better improvement in maths knowledge. There are different types of workshops, events, and fests, and activities organised regularly. There is not much crowd as the institute has a limited number of seats. For PhD and PG students, scholarship/assistantship are available.

It is the most decent private college.

Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered by TCS is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 8 LPA - 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, JP Morgan, and TCS. Almost 40% of students got internships from our college.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good. The hostel rooms are decent. They provide a common laundry room with a washing machine. Labs are equipped with the latest technologies. The food served in the hostel is average, but it is good compared to other colleges.

Faculty: All teachers are intelligent and humble. They are helpful with our studies. They share suggestions for placements. Exams are difficult, but students can score good marks if they study properly by understanding concepts.

Other: Our college organises 4 events. Each event is conducted in each quarter of the year. Our college conducts events from literary to technical. All events have educational roots along with some necessary funds including concerts and EDM nights. Our college has many clubs like a robotic club, literary club, entrepreneur club, etc.

Yes, LNMIIT gives hostel facilities to the students. The university has four Boys and one Girls Hostel. Facilities like 24-hour power supply, Intranet and Internet connectivity, common rooms with TV, indoor games, 24-hour security and surveillance system etc.. are available in the hostels.
