Thiruvalluvar University admission to various PG and PhD programme is purely merit basis. As for the selection it is based on the reservation policy prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Candidates who have passed UG examination other than Thiruvalluvar University, must apply for the eligibility certificate . A non-refundable fee of INR 236 (INR 118 for SC/ST) must be paid for the admission application form. Candidates are required to send the application form with required documents through mail directly to the respective Institution postal address and wait for the seat confirmation.

Thiruvalluvar University MSc admission is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam, i.e., Bachelor's Degree with 50% aggregate the respective subjects from a recognised university. To secure MSc admission candidates must first register on the official website of the university followed by the application porcess. Further, students are shortlisted  based on merit in the in-house entrance test conducted by Thiruvalluvar University. Shortlisted candidates are required to pay the final MSc fee to finalise their admission at the university.

If someone misses the internal exams at Thiruvalluvar University , Do not worry if you have a proper and genuine reason for it they will give are test internal.Firstly you should inform the HOD and principle before only. Scoring good marks only in the end semester examination will not help you in scoring a high GPA, you will have to score good marks in internal exams as well.

College life of Thiruvalluvar university is really mind- blowning. Club activities, people enjoying cricket and football, TT rooms, music rooms, birtday bumps, frustrated CSE guys crying after rocks after their assignments, discussions till late night on politics, india economics, astronomy, sometimes gossiping about girls.

The most backward class and denotified communities (DNC) have 20% reservations. The scheduled castes are provided 18% of seats, including the 3% Arunthathiyars group. The scheduled tribes are provided 1% of the seats.The university also reserves 3% of the above categories for Physically handicapped people.

The quality of placement is good. This college has all the support that students need. The overall review is a good college to study arts and science. In our campus generally, every student who wants to fo job, get the best opportunity. This year the highest package of our campus is 16 LPA and 7 Lacs per annum is our average package. Over of all the review of this college is the best and this college is the best for a hard worker student.
