MTech seats at the University of Rajasthan are offered to registered students based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Moreover, students must also fulfill the eligibility criteria, which is that candidates seeking admission must have passed BE/BTech/MSc or an equivalent degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% in aggregate. Yes, University of Rajasthan M.Tech seats are subject to rules of reservation. Thus, the university does reserve seats for candidates belonging to ST/SC categories. The seat reservation breakdown for the SC/ST categories is as follows:

• 16% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes
• 12% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST)

The University of Rajasthan generally starts the M.Tech admission process in March of the current academic year. Thus, the university is expected to open the M.Tech admission portal in March 2025. Once the portal is open, candidates seeking admission must apply for the preferred course. Moreover, the university's admission schedule is not yet available. As per the UNIRAJ NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to UG-three-year students at Rajasthan University stood at INR 4.5 LPA during the 2022 placement drive. Moreover, as per the NIRF report for 2022, the median package offered to UG-three year students in the year 2021 stood at INR 2.5 LPA. When compared with the year 2021, the median package offered during the 2022 placements witnessed a significant hike. 

University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ) offers admission to the various UG, PG, and Doctoral programmes. Additionally, Rajasthan University also offers Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate courses. UNIRAJ UG admissions are solely based on merit in the qualifying examination. The university accepts  PIM-MAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, and others scores for admission to the MTech and MBA programmes respectively. Admission to other PG courses is based on the scores in the URATPG entrance exam. University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ) conducts MPAT entrance exam for admission to the MPhil and PhD programmes. Candidates who qualify the same are called for a Personal Interview for the final selection. Final admissions to the M.Phil and Ph.D. programs are offered on the basis of the merit list released by the university. Application forms for UNIRAJ Courses are usually released in the month of May or June on its official website. Candidates can apply online for various courses by paying an application fee.
