Yes, as per the official website, Class of Hyderabad accepts Class8 Main scores for final admission to the University of Hyderabad. For the same, however, students are also required to be in the top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class 12 (or equivalent) exam of the respective stream and/ or board OR the candidate must have secured a minimum of 75% aggregate (for General or OBC-NCL category) or a minimum of 65% aggregate (for SC, ST or PWD category) in the Class 12 (or equivalent) exam of respective stream and board.

The CUET PG 2026 admit card was released on March 3, 2026. The admit card is available for the paper to be held between March 6 and 10.

 In University of Hyderabad, fees once paid, no amount is refunded. The cancellation is not permitted to the candidates in case of registrtion fee paid in advance. Based on candidates request for a refund, for any reason, it will be dealt with as per the University's policy. Candidates seeking admission must at least have completed a three-year bachelor’s degree with first class (or its equivalent with 60% aggregate) in any discipline recognised by UGC/ Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE on or before June of the year of admission. Those completing their final examinations by June can also apply. Additionally, candidates must also have a valid score in CAT exam conducted by the IIMs. IIMs, however, play no role in the selection criteria of UoH for MBA. University of Hyderabad admission generally begins in the month of June and August every year across all its courses except for the MBA. Followed by the same, the application process generally closes till October. For MBA, however, the applications are open between November and January.
