Madras University admissions are both merit and entrance-based. For admission to courses such as MBA, MCA, BArch, etc., the university accepts scores of entrance exams such as TANCET and NATA. Further, admission to courses such as MA, MSc, MCom, etc., admissions are offered based on scores of last qualifying exam. University of Madras admission 2024 to MBA and MCA courses is based on TANCET scores followed by the TANCET Counselling. the TANCET Counselling code number for University of Madras is 710. University of Madras offers admission to MBA through affiliated colleges. The total seat intake for MBA at Madras University under the Aided course category is 45, whereas for Self-Financing category it is 50. Students should apply online using the University's official website. For admission to UG and PG courses, Madras University accepts a number of national-level entrance exams. After successfully registration, students should take the course-specific entrance test to be considered for admission. The University will publish a merit list of selected students basis their test scores. Students whose names appear on the merit list should pay the admission fee to secure their places.
