Mysore University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited with A Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University of Mysore has also been ranked 44 in the University category and 71 in the Overall category by NIRF ranking 2023. The university, through its around 228 affiliated colleges and 85 PG departments, offers UG, PG Diploma PG Diploma and Certificate courses to the students. The University of Mysore, through its around 228 affiliated colleges and 85 PG departments, offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, PG diploma, and certificate courses to students across Science, Arts, Journalism, Engineering, and various other streams. Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 400 for PG courses. Besides, candidates irrespective of their category have to pay INR 1,000 separately for entrance exam and INR 2,000 for group subjects. Aspirants need to pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes. Candidates must keep the payment reciept for verification at the time of admission.
