The establishment or the workplace of the candidate must be within 40 KM radial distance from the institution he/she is seeking admission in. Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for Government Seats Candidates should have studied and passed from a government-recognised educational institution located in Karnataka for a minimum period of seven academic years commencing from 1st standard continuously or in broken period and must have passed class 10th or class 12th from a government-recognised institution located in Karnataka. OR The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination from Karnataka. In addition, either of the parents must have studied for a period of seven years in Karnataka OR Children of ex-servicemen who had declared a place in Karnataka as their home town at the time of joining the defence services. In addition, such candidates should have passed the qualifying exam from a University or Board located anywhere in India.

Placements: For B.Tech and MCA placements are good. MCA students get an average package of 10-12 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Infosys, Samsung, and many more visit the campus. Around 250 companies come for MCA placements alone. Overall good placement experience here.

Infrastructure: The hostels have facilities like Wi-Fi, drinking water, light, fans, and beds. The classrooms are air-conditioned, and the central library is well-equipped for borrowing books. The mess food is average, but there are three canteens serving really tasty fast food. There is also a small sports field for volleyball, football, and cricket.

Faculty: Most of the teachers have good experience and qualifications. They mainly support students preparing for placements. Many subjects focus on the financial sector, especially accounting and auditing. Overall, the staff is capable and usually delivers good results.

Placements: 75% students were placed in the college. The average package offered in our course is around 1,10,000 to 1,50,000. For the KEA Government seat, the fee is around 1,10,000, and for the payment seat, it is around 1,50,000. In our batch, the total strength is seventy students.

Infrastructure: This college has the best infrastructure and a good environment. Behind the college, there is a girls' hostel. Good quality food is available in the hostel and also in our college canteen. The college has a separate gym room, sports room, and a wide playground.

Faculty: JSS College has the best faculty members. Faculty members are very friendly with students and share their knowledge with them. One semester duration is three to four months. They are planning for an industrial visit. The exams are conducted seriously.

Other: In JSS College, the Master of Computer Applications course started in the year 2022-2023. Our batch is the second batch in the MCA course. I got a government seat under KEA. It has to be an improved campus placement.

It has been a good experience.

Placements: Placements are like okay kind. But faculty members are very friendly and they will help to everyone. Due to recession this time placements are quite tough so only some students got placed. I studied in batch 2022-2023 batch with strength of 59 students.

Infrastructure: Decent, quite small and beautiful infra. Canteen is very small. Hostel is very strict and well-maintained, with the warden facilities. Wardens will take care of the students and food is decent. The campus has a very friendly environment.

Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and helpful for the students. They clarify each and every student's doubt. They usually conduct two internals in one semester including lab exams. They provide placement training only for one month.
