A good college before 2024, but not now.

Faculty: Faculty members were amazing when I was studying in my first and second years. When I was in my final year, all teachers had left the college, and there was no more good quality in teaching left. In the curriculum, there was a team called VOMC. I would suggest not joining this team, they will get the work done without any appreciation, and they won't respect you. But college faculty members are fully changed now.

Strong academics, experienced faculty, and excellent campus life.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and generally helpful. The curriculum is well-structured and regularly updated as per AICTE and NIT standards, covering all core subjects. Semester exams are moderately difficult and test conceptual understanding rather than rote learning.

Nice college in Mangalore.

Faculty: The courses that happen here are just the ones you would get at elite colleges. The courses are top class with the professors who are experts in their subject. 4 years of exams per semester, which are of a moderate level of difficulty. Which comprises 1 midsem, 2 quizzes, and an end-of-semester exam. Faculty to students ratio is about 1:10. The relationship between each other couldn't be any better. The professors are always there to guide and teach you at all times.

Insights of NIT Karnataka.

Faculty: Nitk has very experienced faculty members. Associate professors specializing in areas like advanced manufacturing, composite materials, tribology, machines design. The course curriculum is designed in a way that makes a student industry ready. The first 3 semesters of mechanical are a bit easy. It gets difficult after the 3rd semester.

Our college doesn't have placements from 2024.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, very helpful, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is also good. Semester exams are generally described as moderately challenging, requiring consistent preparation rather than last-minute cramming, and the pass percentage is reported to be fairly high, though exact rates differ by department and exam difficulty. In our department, it is quite easy.

Traumatised, but a very fair review given.

Faculty: I would recommend this college to Kannada people. Non native Kannada people don't even set foot near this place. Around half of the teachers teaching for a course teach in Kannada. The student demographic of the college is mostly people coming from an underprivileged background who didn't have the resources to learn English or the environment to push them to learn English. I also won't elaborate here about the professor who subjected me to counselling rooted in backward, regressive ideas, which ...

The course is very unique and offers good placements.

Faculty: Faculty members were good. They were highly educated and experienced. They had all completed their post-graduation. The course content was fantastic. Faculty was highly adaptable to the changing environment and incredibly knowledgeable. Some of the work created by NITK academics was used in colleges throughout Karnataka and India. I found a plethora of practical topics here from the outset and learned a lot.

Good college, infrastructure, and placements.

Faculty: All faculty members have good qualifications, but some courses are not relevant to us, so it is very difficult to understand. So we are thinking that the faculty is not good. In my course, two faculty members are good. They always focus on good teaching with industry knowledge, others just come and teach Maths and go.

Absolutely satisfied with teaching of faculty members and nice lab with all the instruments.

Faculty: Every teacher who teaches has done their Ph.D. + 20 to 25 years of experience as a teacher. Every teacher talks to us nicely and we can ask any time if they will teach again if we do not get the topic. Every teacher completes the syllabus on time without leaving a single topic.

Review of NIT Surathkal College.

Faculty: Most of the teachers here had solid experience and good qualifications. The ones who got the most support, definitely the students aiming for job placements. The subjects were mostly entered around the financial sector, especially in areas like accounting and auditing. Overall, the staff seems pretty capable and tends to achieve great results.

National Institute of Technology, Suratkal

Faculty: Faculty members are very good in teaching. They approach students in a friendly manner. They are very knowledgeable, and teaching is good. In the semester, we have two mid exams and a final exam. The pass percentage of exams is 40%, we need to get 40% marks in the final exam only to pass the entire semester.
