The environment was good, and faculty was very helpful.
Placements: After completing the 4th semester in law, students could apply for placements provided by the placement cell. It was based on the best performance of students in their academic roles, internships, and other curricular activities. The placement cell in the college had visits from companies like Wipro, Infosys, and USB. Around 60% of students got placed after completing the course. Litigation was my career plan after this course.
Infrastructure: The room facilities were good. There were 3 bed students in one room. The rooms were big and comfortable for 3 students. The meals were good. Every morning, they gave us fried rice, puri sabji, khichdi, egg curry, roti, etc. For lunch, there was dal and bhaji with chutney, and for dinner, roti or rice with chicken, paneer, fish, egg curry, etc. The hostel was on the university campus.
Faculty: I knew the teaching staff was appointed by Mumbai University, but they could still do some work on this. There were different types of courses, and for each course, they gave different timings. For our course, they gave 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete, and our course followed a 75:25 pattern.
Other: Choosing law was my own decision, and I thought that DY Patil was a good university to study law. I believed they needed to improve their teaching staff.

My review of this college.
Placements: The institution offers a high package of placements to the final year students. Internships are also there in order to help students learn the implementation of their knowledge. Many reputed legal firms and companies hire students. The placement in this college is amazing. The salary package given to the students in the university is 5-7 LPA. There is a 100% placement in this university. The highest package offered is 20 LPA with 100% placements. Roles like legal counsel are offered in law firms and companies such as Deutsche Bank, Luthra, etc.
Infrastructure: The course curriculum is very well designed and keeps getting changed every now and then for more efficiency. There are five subjects in every semester, and each subject is very interesting and crucial for interpreting all the larger topics. The hostel facility is good, but a little overpriced. We have 3 blocks each for boys and girls. A common room has board games, table tennis, football, TV, etc. The mess serves good and hygienic food. The students and teachers living in residence have the same food, so the food quality is kept in check.
Faculty: The faculty members are very approachable and well-qualified. They do possess exceptional knowledge of the law. The teacher's approach to teaching is also very positive. The faculty teaches courses in an interesting way to make students understand in a easy manner. They help us build our confidence level during the seminar class. They always try to resolve doubts in or even after classes with appointments. The teachers are very cooperative and support the students in every way possible. Exams are conducted twice a year, and they are quite cool as far as exams are concerned.
