College is more than just attending lectures.

Faculty: Most faculty members are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Many professors have a strong academic background and are helpful towards students inside and outside the classroom. The curriculum covers both the theoretical and practical parts. With interactive theory classes, lab classes and projects the students are trained for the industry. The semester exams are moderate. I am satisfied with my college life at UPES. It provides above-average placement opportunities.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive, as they always encourage us to go beyond the book and try to get practical knowledge. If we talk about exam level they we have an open-book exam during our mid sem which helps us to apply our theoretical knowledge in practical problems.

The best infrastructure and great hostel facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and the course curriculum is also relevant. Faculty members of GSCM cluster provide special training to all the students who fall under their cluster and there is a good scope of networking with the faculty members. Mid-semester exams are mainly open-book and the pass percentage is 40 percent.

Satisfied with the university and the infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. The pure theoretical doesn't mean to be properly industry-ready. Exams are slightly difficult as the internal weightage is 50 percent, 30 percent is end-semester, and 20 percent is of end-semester.

Course outcome of chemical engineering.

Faculty: The faculty members of UPES are mostly from IITs and they teach from the basics and also prepare you for higher studies. The pattern for exams is there. In mid-semester 50 percent of the syllabus comes and in the end-semester 100 percent syllabus comes, 20 percent mid-semester, 30 percent end-semester, and the rest is internals.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and supportive. The course curriculum is not that relevant. Overall the semester was pretty good and easy. Attendance is really important and if you're debarred because of the attendance issue you have to be a part of summer school.
