Faculty and infrastructure are good.

Placements: Most students get placed during placement. But a certain CGPA has to be maintained to get placed, with no backlogs or standing arrears. Placement training is also provided for students. Currently, I am in my 2nd year, so I have no idea how many students got placed, but this college is one of the best for placement, as my senior friends have been placed.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is well-maintained and cleaned every day by the staff. The floors are also clean. Clean drinking water is provided on every floor. Labs have many computers with internet. Classrooms are also big and well-maintained. The library has many books.

Faculty: The courses of the respective departments are somewhat easy to attend. Students can write exams and score marks to pass. Teachers really help students get passing marks in exams and make them understand the concepts easily. It really makes students ready for the industry.

Other: In my point of view, the campus life is very enjoyable and joyful. The events conducted by the college are also big and well secured, with security for both girls and boys.

Placements: The percentage of students got placed from our course is 70%. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package offered in our course is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies visit in my course. The percentage of students got internships in my course is 50%.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for your course/department are good. Wi-Fi is not available in college. Classrooms and labs are also good. The quality of facilities in your hostel is good and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good. No sports facilities are available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Course curriculum is relevant to jobs and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are good. Pass percentage is 60%.

Placements: Exactly, I don't know that, but they recruit companies from different industry sectors, and the medical field. In the medical sector, they offered different kinds of labs and practical experience. The highest and lowest packages are above maximum 6 LPA to 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course combines both the medical and electronics fields. They have good infrastructure for our course. As for the hostel, we have 24-hour Wi-Fi facilities, and they provide chicken daily.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in informing us about the workshops and other technical events conducted in our college. The teaching quality is good and is related to the course curriculum. It is based on the industry. Sometimes, the semester exams are difficult.

Other: While coming to the events, they conduct more activities in the college, such as technical events and other types of events. Scholarships are provided, and they conduct extracurricular activities by doing projects. The connectivity between the students and faculty is good.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: 50% of students are placed in our course. 6 LPA is the highest package in our department. 10% of students get internships from our course. Amazon is the top recruiting company in our college. We want to change the head of the department.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility in the college. The quality of the mess food is average. Sports games and other club activities are excellent in our college. The medical facilities are very poor. The infrastructure of the biomedical department and its labs is poorer than that of other departments

Faculty: Teaching is above average in our department. This curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage in our department is very poor. Exam invigilation is very strict in our department. Semester examinations are very difficult in our college. The teaching quality is very poor in our college.

Student life at Vel Tech.

Placements: To speak about placements, students who plan to enter the industry just after B.Tech. have great placements in the college, and students are placed as per their satisfaction and expectations as per their marks and CGPA, which play an important role.

Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is great, staff are friendly, and there are accommodations with air conditioning too. The Wi-Fi in the hostel could be better, but the food menu is good and appetising, and there is no ragging in the hostel as first years are separated.

Faculty: The teachers will be helpful in clearing the papers, but scoring excellent marks is in our hands only. The exams aren't that tough, and the passing percentage is around 45 as we get more points from internals and assignments. Attendance is really needed.

Other: Biomedical engineering is a course that many don't know exists in India. Very few colleges in Tamil Nadu provide biomedical courses. The college life is good even for students who are from abroad, and the college even has an office for international relations. There is a cultural event called LAVAZA every year, and it will be fun.
