Placements: Veltech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute is a peaceful college. The highest package is 45 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. The lowest package is 2.4 LPA, and companies that come to the college are Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, and TCS. Internships are also available.
Infrastructure: Veltech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute has Wi-Fi available all over the college. The library consists of a lot of books, and the classrooms are also good. Hostel facilities are available, the canteen is good, and medical facilities are also available. Sports and games are conducted.
Faculty: Veltech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute has well-qualified teachers. Telugu faculty staff are available, and the best curriculum is in place. Semester exams are a little bit difficult, and the pass percentage is 60%. Mid exams are easy.
Other: Events are also conducted in our college. It would be better to improve by decreasing the crowd, as there are a lot of students in our university.

Great experience at Veltech.
Placements: I'm from the B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) 2025-29 batch. The placement opportunities at Veltech are quite good especially for CSE and AIML students. Around 80-85 percent of students in our course get placed every year. The highest package in our department is around 15 LPA, the average package range is between 4 LPA and 5 LPA, and the lowest is about 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, HCL, Wipro, Zoho, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for AIML students is impressive. The labs are well-equipped with modern systems and software support. Every department has Wi-Fi access, smart classrooms, projectors, and a good library with digital resources. The hostels are clean and spacious. There's 24/7 water and power backup. The mess food is decent with both North and South Indian options. There's also a canteen and juice shop on campus. Medical facilities are available with a campus doctor and ambulance service. The college also encourages sports. We have cricket, volleyball, basketball courts, and indoor games. Overall it's a good and safe place.
Faculty: The faculty in AIML are qualified and approachable. Most professors have M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees and are very helpful during projects and research work. The curriculum is updated according to the latest industry trends including topics like Deep Learning, Data Science, and IoT. Exams are moderately difficult but easy to pass if you study regularly. There is continuous assessment, internal tests, and project work help students perform better. The pass percentage is above 90 percent in our course.

Placements: Vel Tech University reports a strong placement record, with the percentage of eligible students placed exceeding 90 percent. The highest package recorded in recent drives is 44 LPA which is offered by Amazon, while the average package for B.Tech programs is between 4 LPA and 6.5 LPA. The campus is visited by over 300 companies including top recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, and Zoho. Many students secure internships (sometimes it is reported up to 70 percent) with these firms, which offer final roles predominantly in Software Development and System Engineering.
Infrastructure: The hostel buildings themselves are well-maintained, offering multiple occupancy options (AC/Non-AC) with basic furnishing. Facilities are comprehensive including 24/7 water, unlimited Wi-Fi, laundry services, a gym, and sports courts. The experience is marked by two main factors management is very strict with rules and curfews. Regarding food, the quality is often consistent while South Indian cuisine is generally fine overall, mess food receives mixed feedback and is best described as okay. Medical and canteen facilities are readily available on campus.
Faculty: The faculty at Vel Tech are reported to be highly qualified with many holding Ph.D. degrees or actively pursuing them. They are considered knowledgeable and helpful adopting a friendly and supportive approach with students (the mentor-mentee system is frequently mentioned). The teaching quality is rated as good, with professors using modern methods and providing notes. However some long-term student reviews mention occasional inconsistencies in teaching quality across departments, and some regional bias from certain placement coordinators has been noted by a few non-local students.
Other: I'm from the B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) 2024-2028 batch at Vel Tech University, Avadi. I chose this course because of my interest in technology and artificial intelligence. The best parts are practical learning, workshops, and helpful faculty. However more real-world projects and placement support could improve. The campus has good events, scholarships, and friendly students.

It is a good college for students who really try hard to come up.
Placements: Around 40% of students were placed each year. For my course, the lowest is 2.3 LPA, and the highest package is 30 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, IBM, META, and HP recruit. Around 70% of students got internships, and the companies are TCS, HCL, Zoho, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, and Capgemini.
Infrastructure: I give 5/5 for the lab space, and the facilities are good for teaching, and the classrooms are clean and neat. For each class, the projector is fixed, and the campus Wi-Fi are good, and there are 6 libraries in Vel Tech University. Each library is separated, for example, SOC, EEE and Environmental Studies. I didn't experience the hostel, so I don't know about it.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and most of the teachers have completed their Master's degree, and the teaching strategies were good.
The exams are moderate to slightly challenging. Students feel they need solid preparation. Pass rates are reasonably good (often 80-90%) but vary depending on course, subject, and exam.
Other: Vel Tech is generally a strong private technical university with good accreditation, infrastructure, and faculty. The curriculum is largely relevant and geared to make students ready for jobs (especially in engineering/tech fields), though there are some gaps in keeping up with the newest topics/tools in some cases. Exams are of moderate difficulty, not extremely hard, but not trivial either. Regular study is essential. The pass percentage tends to be quite high (80-90%) in many departments, though in some tougher or less popular courses it falls lower.

Its a good college. The placements are good and it is based on your skill and ability.
Placements: Above 60% or equal to 60% (for below 50% students the fees will be carried more; for above 60% students there will be scholarship for them, and this percentage will be separate based on the 12th board marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths), the highest package is 44 LPA and the lowest package is 2 to 3 LPA, Infosys, IBM, Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, and many other top recruiting companies are there, 8 and above CGPA, and I am not will know about it but I will get a knowledge about it.
Infrastructure: I have not experienced the hostel food, but I asked my friend about the college food and he gave it a 7 out of 10 rating. There are many sports games like football, basketball, tennis, and many indoor games as well, we can play anytime we are free.
Faculty: Teaching qualities are good and analogible. The course relevant subjects are taken very carefully by the faculty. They teach us from the basic to the advance to gain more knowledge. The past percentage for the semester is 30 marks because the semester will be conducted for 50 marks and 50 marks for internal. That 50 marks will be taken by two tests (Test 1 and Test 2) each test 20 marks and attendance 5, assignments 5 marks.
Other: I choose the IT course because I like software related things, so I decided to travel my journey by taking this course. I would like to improve about this course by adding new concepts and new technology skills. About this, the events of campus and surrounding scholarships are very good and interesting. The events are very amazing.

Good campus and there are events for every fest in college.
Placements: Passing out batch of 2026-27 average package is 5 LPA. Students got good internship offers and good placements, better companies, and more companies visited. Overall, college is good in everything, but they want to focus on students' needs. Recruiting companies for your course are multiple companies. The lowest package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Good classrooms. Wi-Fi is available in some classrooms, but in some it is not available. Labs are all good. All labs are available on campus and a medical room is also available in the college. There is no mess in college, but a canteen is available. The quality of the facilities in your hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, and sports are okay.
Faculty: Faculty is okay, there are more numbers of teachers available for single subject. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage of the semester is 50%. The exams are conducted day by day, we can easily clear the subject, and there are tests of 60 marks and internals of 40 marks.
Other: Good campus and there are events for every fest in college. I don't know about the scholarship. There are 3-day fests in college. Fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, and extracurricular activities are all available.
