The admission to BA courses at Vidya Bharati University is primarily based on CUET scores. Also, candidates who are willing to secure a seat in the BA course must complete their Class 12 with decent scores. However, a CUET-UG score is not required for some BA specialisations available at VBU. Now admission at Visva Bharati University to UG, PG, Certificate, and Diploma courses will be based on CUET. It is not mandatory. However, for UG courses, a CUET-UG score is mandatory to take admission. For courses like BA (Hons) students shall have CUET + Departmental Entrance Test (DET) with a 50:50 ratio with equal weightage for admissions.

CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Admission to the UG programmes will be done through the entrance test called CUET in Visva Bharati University, and admissions to postgraduate programmes will be done on the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination.
