VIT Amaravati does offer BTech in Computer Science Engineering. The BTech course is further available in sub-specialisations such as CSE (Data Analytics), CSE (Robotics), CSE (Artificial Intelligence), and CSE (Networking and Security). To secure BTech admission candidates should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for reserved categories) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board. For BTech admission candidates must also have VITEEE score. 

The VIT-AP EAMCET Cutoff 2023 was released for admission to BTech courses at VIT-AP. The VIT-AP Cutoff ranks were  released for different categories under the AI and HS Quota. The Cutoff ranks ranged between 1930 and 9255 for different courses. B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive course for the General AI category candidates, with the Cutoff of 1930. Based on the previous years' cutoff, candidates seeking admission to VIT-AP must secure more than the cutoff range mentioned here to secure a seat. 

The VIT-AP EAMCET Cutoff 2024 is yet to be out. But, considering the VIT-AP EAMCET Cutoff 2022, the Cutoff rank for CSE was 6020 while for the year 2021, the Cutoff for CSE closed at 32230. The Vellore Institute of Technology (AP)'s flagship programme is BTech. VIT Amaravati provides full-time BTech programmes in three specialisations: computer science, electronics and communication, and mechanical.
